They're making a movie to this book, I loved the book and I've read the whole series, it's strangely engaging. But they're making a MOVIE, can't wait, though it'll be like five years.

Really?? Do you know of a website or something?

Not sure, just type it into google or something, there was some news a few months ago that Card had written a script and was getting together with some people from some company to make the script for the movie, but it's still really early in the process.

I must say that what hit me most about ENders game and Enders shadow was how they were originally written in the 70 and the students had laptops. it blew my mind how this guy could think of all the technology back then.

But hey so did the star trek people.

ehehehe, I ordered Shadow of the Giant on Amazon yesterday. Should get here in a week or so. I'm so excited, but yet a little sad as well. This will probably be the last Ender book Card writes :(

I  the Ender series, and don't know what I'll do when there will be no more books to look forward to. When
Ender died in Children of the Mind, I cried.
I know, I know, I'm a big baby, but these characters are fantastically written, and they're like friends. Ok, maybe I'm just a loser with no friends, which is also a possibility.

Anyone else feel this way about the Ender characters?

I just finished Shadow of the Giant. Has anyone heard any rumors about possible another off shoot series? I don't want to say too much, lest I spoil it.

I'm hopin for some more books in the enderverse, but it doesn't look too likely right now.

The beginning was good, the end was good, the middle was eh.

It has a rather cruddy portrayal of muslims as violent, backwards women haters, even 200 years in the future when we're all suppose to be reformed and women throw their hijab off in the street. I do like the portrayal of Caliph Alai, for the most part.

I can't say much more, although I'm dying to have someone with about it. Someone hurry up and read it!

I've read it. Overall I thought it was very good. I wish they had done more with Hot Soup like they did with Alai. I especially like how they all reached the final desicion they did. It would be interesting to see what has become of Bean's kids in the time of Xenocide. It's even conciveable that Bean himself would be alive still. Maybe he's in contact with Jane. If anyone could figure out a way to switch Anton's Key it would be her.

This is what I'm hoping for. Maybe I'll write Mr. Card a pleading, pathetic letter begging him to write it.
