Jeremah 13:10 applies just as well to the Jewish people of today.Jeremiah 12-13 is talking about the Jews of Jeremiah's day had gotten in to worshiping other gods, and thus would suffer the consequences.
Jeremiah 13:10 This evil people, which refuse to hear my words, which walk in the imagination of their heart, and walk after other gods, to serve them, and to worship them, shall even be as this girdle, which is good for nothing.
They made themselves good for nothing. That generation of Jews ended up going into Babylonian captivity, which lasted 70 years.
The proof that the Prophecy of Jeremiah 12:14-17, is unfulfilled and for the end times is proved by the outcome of it.
Only Gods faithful peoples will repopulate the Land and only the Jews who learn the ways of My people that is; Christianity, will be allowed to join them. Exactly as paralleled by Ezekiel 20:33-36, confirms.
Jeremiah 11:1-12, is his Prophecy about the Babylonian conquest.
And Luke 21:20-24, is Jesus' Prophecy about the Roman conquest.
Zechariah 8:7-8 THESE ARE THE WORDS OF THE LORD: I am about to rescue My people from the countries in the East and the West and bring them to Jerusalem. They shall be My peoples and I shall be their God, in faithfulness and in Justice.
