Impossible to mix up a single Individual.

Prince Messiah is corroborated and confirmed outside of Daniel 9 to be a prince multiple times in Scripture (Isaiah 9:6; Acts 3:15; Acts 5:31; Revelation 1:5).

Antichrist (who is nonexistent in the OT)? Not once.

My commentary is that basically, the little horn leader of Europe will head that direction with a strong army. And occupy the region following Gog/Magog on the premise of keeping peace and stability in the region.

John is the only person in all f scripture to use the term "Antichrist" and he only uses it 4 times in two of the three books he wrote. The person he called the AC is found in many other books but other names are used for him. It is an argument from silence fallacy to ask where "Antichrist" or even "anti" is used in these other books as that is only one of many names and does not appear in the majority of the books that talk about him.

The preson in Daniel 9:26b is the prince who shall come - leader, King of the Roman Empire end times. He is not at that time, just coming into the middle east, considered the Antichrist.

It is not until he is anointed the King of Israel, that he becomes the Antichrist, and in that role, he confirms the Mt. Sinai covenant as required by Moses of all future leaders of Israel, on the 7 years cycle, in Deuteronomy 31:9-13.
