Which means prior to the end Jesus expected His followers, us to be resting on the Sabbath and keeping the day Holy. The fact that Judea is mentioned means that the abomination of desolation standing in the Holy Place is tied to that region
Although I could be semi sympathetic to such natural, external and map specific physical only sights, I'd suggest the waters on this subject run much deeper
You forgot the most basic part, which is that we won't "see" it coming
Luke 17:20
And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said,
The kingdom of God cometh not with observation
Jesus spoke about inner or internal matters
The abomination of desolation does in fact already sit in the temple and has since day one of mankind, and that is our adversary in our own flesh temple
Judea specifically, the "head" of the tribe that ultimately produced our Head, The Mind of Christ
Kingdom rising against kingdom? That would be the kingdom of God rising against the kingdom of the Satan
Satan has had a "nation," singular, from his beginning. A nation unseen. Also a generation, singular. He and his subsequent own have been around from our beginning, with Adam. They have not passed away, but will, at "their" end. Jesus often spoke to AGENTS UNSEEN, for example when speaking to Satan in Peter or any number of other episodes where Jesus addressed and interacted with DEVILS in people.
I'd go so far as to say it was these unseen bad actors in people that killed Jesus. That is how Jesus could forgive those who nailed Him to the cross because "they know not" what they do. But the DEVILS who compelled them, another story, unfinished. Revelation 1:7 yet to unfold
Not everything is as it appears on the surface. I'd say, nothing is as it appears on the surface
I could go on dispelling every natural sight and meaning with a much more intense and personally applicable version, but if "ye," plural, haven't picked up on it yet it's unlikely to happen
A good reminder though is that Mark 4:15 is real for everyone, right here, right now, until Satan's ending
