it was needed to be downloaded and never came up of course i probaly did something wrong or it is somewhere on the computer. Well half way up into the clouds i will be sure to say i told you so. And as Mike Wornkie says, i'll grab up a sinner and say "do you repent or should i let go."

LOL aren't you funny.......:D

In that link spurgeon talks about how he believes that there will be two resurrections-one of the righteous and the other of the unrighteous after the millenium--but he wouldn't go so far as to say whether the millenium would be actually a thousand years, or much of anything else actually. All he said was basically(I think) what Historical Pre-millenialists believe. That Jesus will come and resurrect the righteous dead, reign on earth for a thousand years and then the un-righteous would be resurrected to face judgement and hell. Spurgeon really didn't want to get into too much "end time' stuff--he said that wasn't what he was called by God to do.

So there you go--a Reformed Calvinist who was a Pre-millenialist. He did indeed give me something to think about.

Oh, I have to find this one site again and send you a link to it. It talks about the problems of a "secret" rapture. It had some interesting things to say anyway--worth a look-see........;)

No, that is not what Dispensationalism teaches. Would you mind providing a quote from a Dispensationalist teacher that says this?

Not explicitly but by teaching that worship services will take place in a temple rebuilt in Jerusalem according to Ezechiel's visions. Now, have a close look at Ezechiel and his temple worship service. What does it teach about the sacrifices? Atoning sacrifices! Re-introducing such a system would be completely against New Testament teaching (letter to the Hebrews etc.).
Now I know, Dispensationalists would say that those sacrifices are only to be unterstood symbolically - like the Lord's Supper - in remembrance to Jesus' sacrifice.
But is this what Ezechiel teaches? Of course not. So Dispensationalists who always claim to interpret the Bible literally must change their system of interpretation.
Returning to a worship service where animals will be sacrificed is not biblical. Period. It is very strange indeed to commit this eisegesis just to maintain a system that contradicts the New Testament teaching.

But that's not the only problem with Dispensationalism. One other is that it tears apart the people of God. Unfortunately my English is not fluent enough to have deeper and longer theological discussions.
I would just like to recommend a book, an article and one link:
