In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. I was reminded of this story recently when the Australian Collins Class submarines were portrayed on the television program "60 Minutes".
Tex spent his life at sea as a professional fisherman. On a deceptively calm night Tex guided his 13 metre fishing boat toward the beach of an otherwise inaccessible canyon. He had agreed to allow some friends to come ashore using the vessel’s small skiff while he and the rest of the crew did some night fishing.
Returning to the rendezvous spot early the next morning the men found conditions had deteriorated. Huge waves ripped through the channel, nearly capsizing the fishing boat (and unbeknown to the crew) fatally weakening it.
The small skiff, full of hunters waiting on the shoreline had had its bottom torn out by rugged rocks. With great difficulty a tow line was brought to the shivering hunters who while holding onto floating objects were dragged by the boat’s winch through the surf to the vessel. All got there safely.
Exhausted after fishing all night and the adventure of the morning, Tex went below deck to sleep. A few hours later he was woken by his panicking friends. The boat was sinking. By the time Tex got to the deck there was nothing he could do except order everyone into the water. They only had life jackets and inner tubes to keep them afloat.
The men were in trouble and currents were sweeping them out to sea. Night was coming and two men swam towards what they thought were boat lights in the distance. They didn’t make it and drowned. By morning the situation had worsened. A tube was losing air. There was no food and water. Overhead planes did not see them.
It was then that Tex decided to call a prayer meeting. No one objected. With all hope gone this group of tough self sufficient sailors had only one place to turn. They pleaded for God to intervene. The moment the last man finished his prayer Tex looked up. "A stick" he cried out. The stick was standing vertically out of the water. It appeared to be a fishing buoy or marker of some kind. Suddenly the stick began to move rapidly in their direction. The six men stopped paddling, stunned and puzzled. Seconds later there was a huge sound and a monster emerged from the depths. It was a nuclear submarine.
The hatch opened and the captain of the sub came to the observation deck. Rescued! Huddled below deck and nursing hot coffee the six survivors listened awestruck as the captain explained it was against orders for him to surface his sub anywhere outside Pearl Harbour and he expected to face disciplinary action for what he had done. But as story teller Rick Bundschuh records the captain said "Something beyond my control told me to go to the surface. I can’t explain. Something just told me to bring the sub right up, right then and there. I did… and you were there".
This true story is one example of how God can answer prayer. Other times the answer is not spectacular and it may seem God is not answering at all. Sometimes we have to listen and wait. You never know what might happen when groups of people – even whole communities - genuinely reach out to God in prayer. Give our Creator the opportunity. Humble your self and pray, turn from our evil ways and see what might happen. Thank Him for so many things including what He has done for us through Jesus on the cross. Genuine thanks leads to obedience and worship.

Hi brother.. pray it through.. direct your cries to God... seek His presence above all things and ask Him for release to be able to do it.. and He will become real to you..

You see your spirit and heart is crying out for him... but because your flesh is weak it fails to connect with HIM.. BUT your Spirit is willing.. Oh that dryness is a good thing it drives us to HIM!! Because nothing else satisfies..

Take HIM at his WORD.. if He promises you something in the word.. believe it.. ask Him to help you believe it..

With tears flowing, the child's father at once cried out, "I do believe! Help my unbelief!" Mark 9:24

He has promised that out of your belly.. will come streams of living water!!

The one who believes in me, as the Scripture has said, will have rivers of living water flowing from his heart." John 7:38

I Refuse

I refuse to be discouraged, To be sad, or to cry;
I refuse to be downhearted, and here's the reason why:
I have a God who's mighty, Who's sovereign and supreme;
I have a God who loves me, and I am on His team.
He is all-wise and powerful. Jesus is His name;
Though everything is changeable, My God remains the same.
My God knows all that's happening; Beginning to the end;
His presence is my comfort; He is my dearest Friend.
When sickness comes to weaken me, To bring my head down low,
I call upon my mighty God; Into His arms I go.
When circumstances threaten to rob me of my peace;
He draws me close unto His breast, Where all my strivings cease.
When my heart melts within me, and weakness takes control;
He gathers me into His arms, He soothes my heart and soul.
The great "I AM" is with me. My life is in His hand.
The "Son of the Lord" is my hope. It's in His strength I stand.
I refuse to be defeated. My eyes are on my God;
He has promised to be with me, As through this life I trod.
I'm looking past all my circumstances, To Heaven's throne above;
My prayers have reached the heart of God I'm resting in His love.
I give God thanks in everything. My eyes are on His face;
The battle's His, the victory mine; He'll help me win the race.

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me!!!!
Pass it on!
"Vision is not seeing things as they are, but as they will be..." -Unknown

Russian Adoptee, U.S. Hiker Changing Lives with Shoe Boxes

A Russian girl rescued from a loveless life in an orphanage and a former high school science teacher currently on a 477-mile hiking mission are both telling their remarkable personal stories for the sake of collecting shoe boxes.
Wed, Oct. 08, 2008 Posted: 09:05 AM EDT
A Russian girl rescued from a loveless life in an orphanage and a former high school science teacher currently on a 477-mile hiking mission are both telling their remarkable personal stories for the sake of collecting shoe boxes.
Tanya Poteet, 19, was once a hopeless child in a Russian orphanage who thought no one loved her - including her still living alcoholic parents. Although her parents were poor, they could have afforded to buy her a small present with the money they spent on liquor.
But for 10 years she never received a present from her parents or anyone – until one day Operation Christmas Child came to her orphanage.
The Samaritan’s Purse project gave her the first gift in her life and reminded her that someone in the world still cared about a little Russian girl abandoned by her parents.
“I was told no one loved me and no one ever will,” Poteet said. “My shoe box gift it was the first present I ever received.”
While living at the orphanage in a room with 15 other girls, she said that she would sometimes disappear but that no one cared to look for her. She also used to walk 45 minutes in the freezing cold to visit her younger brother in another orphanage.
But her life changed at the age of 14. Poteet met an American Christian couple at an adoption camp who not only adopted her but also her two younger siblings who were all living in different orphanages.
As a family, her adopted mother took the children to go shopping for gifts to fill shoe boxes. It was then while packing the shoe boxes that Poteet realized that she had received a similar gift years before.
Now as a grown young woman who recently graduated from high school, Poteet has joined the Operation Christmas Child team as an intern. This summer she went on a mission trip to Ecuador with the ministry to deliver shoe boxes to poverty-stricken children.
“It reminded me that when I was 10 someone came and gave me a shoe box and showed me hope and now I get to do the same thing for those kids,” Poteet said emotionally to The Christian Post.
Poteet says she wants to dedicate her life to work with an international ministry that cares for orphans and let them know that “someone loves them no matter what’s going on.”
In addition to Poteet’s touching story, 57-year-old retired teacher David Barlow also has his own intriguing story to tell.
To raise awareness about Operation Christmas Child, Barlow has decided to go on a 40-day, 477-mile journey by foot on North Carolina’s Blue Ridge Parkway – one of the busiest national parkways - from start to finish.
“I knew I wanted to do something to get people involved in helping others,” Barlow said. “This is the perfect way for me to let others know how easy it is to help millions worldwide … with just a shoe box.”
Barlow set off on the intimidating journey on Aug. 30. He will walk on difficult terrain carrying a 35-pound backpack full of supplies that he will stop to replenish only three times.
On average he walks 10-14 miles a day.
“It’s actually a walk with the Lord,” Barlow shared about his journey to The Christian Post during a break from his hike. “I mean, I talk with Him in the morning. I talk with Him in the evening when I start looking for a camp site.”
Barlow is expected to complete his hike in mid-October.
Since 1993, Operation Christmas Child – the world’s largest Christmas project – has hand-delivered more than 61 million shoe box gifts to needy children in some 100 countries who are suffering because of natural disasters, disease, war, terrorism, famine and poverty.
This year, the goal is to collect 8 million shoe boxes. The boxes are filled with simple items most people take for granted – toothpaste, small toys, school supplies, and sometimes shoes.
Operation Christmas Child’s National Collection Week is Nov. 17-24, although gift-filled boxes are welcomed year-round.

Rescuers, Parents Call Missing Toddler's Survival against Impossible Odds Nothing Short of a Miracle
by Teresa Neumann : Oct 18, 2008 : Matt Conley - Pahuska Journal Capital
http://pawhuskajournalcapital.com/articles/2008/10/08/news/news01.txt
"Little Ali Tuller will soon be sporting a bracelet that contains the inscription 'Walking With Jesus.'"
(Pawhuska, Oklahoma)—Sometime between midnight and 1:30 in the morning on October 3, Tracy (Ali) Tuller, 23-month-old daughter of Shanna and Robert Tuller, crawled out of her bed and slipped out her parents' home outside of town.

"That night was my birthday, and my husband and I put the children to bed and stayed up late in the living room. When I went to check on the kids at 1:30 that morning before we went to bed, Ali wasn't in bed," said Shanna. "We have five children, and three of them were at home that night. We woke up the two boys, and frantically searched the house. She just wasn't anywhere."

Within minutes of calling 911, scores of people were combing the area for Ali. According to a report in the Pawhuska Journal Capital the search lasted until nearly 4 a.m., when a rescue worker named Gibbie Gibson found the little girl standing in the middle of a pond about a mile from her home.

"He walked out to get her, and the water was well up past his waist," said Shanna. "When he got to her, though, the water wasn't even up to her waist, and she wasn't standing on anything. It had to have been God holding her up. Gibbie was in shock when he saw it, and really had no explanation other than a miracle."
Not only that, but throughout the night searchers also reportedly came across two cougars, a pack of coyotes, and even killed a copper head snake. According to the report, everybody—except Ali—was muddy, scratched up, and wet from the big storm that rolled through the area.

"She went out without her shoes on, walked all that distance, and even had to cross two barbed wire fences to get to where they found her," said Shanna, who was convinced "there had to be at least 60 or 70 people out searching for her that night, and after it was all over, they were all in worse shape than Ali. My daughter wasn't even scared; she was just out for a walk."
"There is not a doubt in my mind that God was with her, watching over her that night," continued Shanna. "God must have a special purpose for Ali. Our only guess as to why Ali was in the pond is that God must have put her there to keep her away from the cougars. I hope this story touches people, because it has certainly touched our lives. There is a God out there, and He is watching over all of us. God was definitely with Ali that night."

BY HIS STRIPES WE ARE HEALED

© January 2002 by Asher Intrater

I.
Meditation on the Cross
Yeshua not only died on the cross, He also suffered during the time leading up to the cross. He was rejected and ridiculed (by those He loved). He was stripped and spit upon (like having been abused). He was beaten and cut (until He bled).

By His death on the cross, our sins are forgiven. By His suffering before the cross, we are given strength to endure and encouragement to be healed. "By His stripes (beatings, bruises, wounds), we are healed." - Isaiah 53:4.

Part of our spiritual victory comes through identification with Yeshua's suffering and crucifixion. I try to make it a daily habit to meditate on Yeshua and on the cross. Through that meditation we can receive inner strength and physical healing.

By following through in your imagination the events of Yeshua's suffering and crucifixion, there is a spiritual flow of life that comes from Him and enters into your inner being. "Guard your heart with all diligence, for out of it flow the issues of life." - Proverbs 4:23. During meditation on Yeshua and the cross, this issue of life flows from deep in His spirit to deep in your spirit. "Deep calls unto deep..." - Psalm 42:7.

I try to meditate on Yeshua and the cross first thing in the morning, last thing at night, and perhaps once during the day if I can grab a few moments to close my eyes and calm my thoughts. There is a connection in the spirit where your imagination touches Yeshua on the cross that releases the flow of His life.

II.
Identification with Yeshua
This world is a place of suffering because of sin - either as the result of our sin or of the sin of others. Yet Yeshua volunteered to enter our pool of sin, unbelief, and suffering in order to rescue us out of it. He was not a "poor soul" victimized by the ruffians of this world. He was the victor, the rescuer, coming to save sinners and destroy the works of the devil.

He was not depressed or defeated. He had not a vestige of self-pity. He told the women who were weeping for Him, "Daughters of Jerusalem, weep not for Me, but weep for yourselves." - Luke 23:28.

One of the dangers of the sufferings of this world is that they can push a person to self-pity and make him feel spiritually defeated. There is something about identifying with Yeshua in His sufferings on the cross that frees you from self-pity and defeat. It heals your pain. It's not just that we identify with Him, but that He identified with us. He chose to unite Himself with us because of His great mercy. He was the strong identifying with the weak, the victorious uniting with the defeated, the Holy One becoming one with sinners.

When we realize that He chose to become one with us, we can become one with Him. He united with our humanity so that we could be united with His divinity. We identify with Him because He first identified with us. In that unity, we find courage and encouragement. Self-pity flees. Life and healing power flow into us. His victory replaces our defeat. His purity replaces our sin, His holiness our lusts, His cleanliness our guilt.

III.
Confession of Faith
At each of the stages leading up to His death on the cross, Yeshua maintained a positive confession. " Who witnessed the good confession before Pontius Pilate." - I Timothy 6:13. Before Pilate He said, "I am the King." - (John 18:37). Before the priests and scribes, He said, "I am the Messiah." - (Mark 14:62). We maintain a similar confession. In the face of ridicule from the secular world or rejection from the religious world, we confess, "Yeshua is my King and Messiah.
"

On the road to the cross, Yeshua resisted every temptation to self-pity. Instead of "Woe is me," His confession was one of authority (Luke 23:28). When almost all of His disciples ran away in fear, He spoke to those remaining of becoming a spiritual family (John 19:26). On the cross, when He felt completely abandoned, even by God, He quoted Scriptures. ("My God, My God, why hast thou forsaken me?" was not a confession of unbelief, but a proclamation of Psalm 22 as a Messianic prophecy.) When He was crucified by those He came to serve, He fought off resentment, opened His mouth and spoke grace unto them, "Father, forgive them... (Luke 23:34)." At the moment of death, when all seemed lost, He proclaimed His total trust in God, "Into Thy hands I commit My spirit." - (Luke 23:46).

With each progressive difficulty, at each stage of harder and harder circumstances, He held fast to His confession of faith and integrity. Speaking words of courage and hope in the midst of difficult circumstances is a focal point of the kingdom of God. We are to be faithful unto the death and hold fast our confession even to the end.

The inner decision to speak righteously in increasingly difficult circumstances builds character. It demands integrity. Faith confession in the midst of trial forges the kingdom of God in you - and releases it through you to others. Let us meditate on the cross, identify with Yeshua, and maintain our confession of faith.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

FulfillingThe Great Commission

Jesus Christ (Yeshua Ha Machiach) of the
New Testament is Yahovah (Yahweh) of the Old Testament
Neither is there salvation in any other (than Jesus Christ):
for there is none other name under heaven given among men,
whereby we must be saved.
Acts 4:12

Gospel of Grace

The gospel of grace is the good news about Jesus Christ (Yeshua Ha Machiach)…That He is God (Yahweh, Yahovah) who came in the flesh, lived a perfect sinless life and died a sacrificial death on the cross to atone for our sins. Jesus Christ died on a tree, was risen on the third day and was buried in a borrowed grave. He resurrected and ascended into heaven to sit at the right hand of God the Father, mediating the New Covenant with and interceding for us. The gospel of grace is a message of hope for the hopeless, a message of light in a world burdened and made dark by sin….it’s a message of life to those who are spiritually dead….a message of forgiveness to the unforgiven and a message of reconciliation to those who are separated from God because of their sinful nature. It is because of His great and everlasting love and because of his infinite grace and mercy that God provided the gospel.

What must I do to be saved?

Salvation involves more than simply acknowledging Jesus’ historical existence. It means to exercise faith in who He is and to repent of our sin. In Mark 1:15 we are told that one cannot be saved apart from repentance. To repent is turning from our sin and ourselves and turning to God through Jesus Christ. Salvation is a matter of repentance and belief in the finished work of Christ on the cross. There is no other way than Jesus Christ and the cross by which man may be saved (redeemed) from his sin and reconciled to God. There is no other way at all. The Lord paid the price so we undeserving sinners may have his grace. Only by believing on Christ can we experience the true and eternal riches of God’s grace and mercy. We all deserve God’s wrath because of our sins but the Bible says that if we will but believe the gospel, we won’t face wrath but instead we will be saved by his grace.

"That if you confess with your mouth, 'Yeshua (Jesus) is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.
" (Romans 10:9-10)

I was going to start this post by saying what was about to share was insignificant in comparison to the above but thought maybe that wasn't how I should view anything God does.

Anyway last week while using a heat gun, the type you use to burn paint off timber etc.
I accidently put the hot end on my leg , it burned straight though the nylon overalls I was wearing and gave me a nasty burn on the leg.
After putting up with the pain and discomfort for an hour or so , I decided to put my hand over it and pray.

More than 24hours later I remembered it and realized I had no pain even when I touched it, I thought it was quite amazing that I had totally forgotten it.

I love the way God works.

Anyway just felt like sharing.

Bill Yount: "Be Anxious For Nothing - Heaven is Now Releasing Our 'HEALTH CARE' and 'BAIL OUT' Plan"
by Bill Yount
Nov 11, 2008

"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving (thanking God ahead of time for what you are asking for) let your requests be made known unto God." Philippians 4:6, emphasis added
"Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health even as thy soul prospereth."
3 John 1:2
I believe that to receive what Heaven is releasing now we need to get our souls to prosper first. I believe we need to hear what God is saying concerning our lives and live by every "now" word that comes out of His mouth. When God speaks, you live! His word is health to our flesh and marrow to our bones! His word is more valuable than fine gold. If God speaks to you to go fishing to pay your taxes, you will find money in that fish's mouth!
Also in this article, I want to touch on relationships that help to get our souls to prosper so we can live in health, instead of struggling so much to get healed. I know I have received healing through others' love and prayers for me. I also have received material blessings through the least likely people that God has chosen to use in my life. Our relationships can pay off in big dividends!
Cleave to the Word that the Lord is Saying or Has Spoken to YOU!
I will never forget the words that the Lord spoke into my being five years ago, since the day I had an attack against my heart: "Son, you are now beginning to be attacked by healing, for healing runs in your family!" I had never heard these words before in my life. The Lord also showed me that my healing would be gradual, little by little. I personally believe this is so I would keep my focus on Him more than I would if He had healed me instantly. I believe I have learned more about healing the longer I have walked through this valley of my faith being tested for it.
One of the first things that I testify in every church that I have ministered to in the last five years is, "I'm being attacked by healing!" As I say these words, I immediately sense a rise in the people's faith to believe "healing is attacking them" also! Many times the enemy has tried to convince me in the natural that my healing is not really happening.
But since I know the enemy is a liar, I have become even more bold in saying what God has said to me. There came a time when such boldness and determination came upon me that I knew I had gone beyond just "testifying" and that I had been shifted in the spirit to begin "prophesying" my healing!
Reach Across Denominational Lines to Receive Heaven's 'HEALTH CARE' and 'BAIL OUT' Plans
Even as our government must reach across party lines to be healthy, God's people must reach across denominational lines to receive Heaven's "Health Care" plan for us as well as His "Bail Out" plan for our nation. Looking back upon my life, God has chosen sovereignly to use many different churches and denominations to get me to where I am today. Even in my early years when I began experiencing sickness in my body, it seems the Lord was ordering my steps and I found myself in unusual places where healing was just waiting for me to get there.
When I was seven years old with a brain tumor, through divine leading, a doctor sent me to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to Mercy Hospital, which is a Catholic Hospital. My mother had all of the nuns and priests praying for me. She seemed to see through the eyes of God that His people were everywhere like angels to help us in our times of need. God miraculously and sovereignly chose that Catholic Hospital and those nuns and priests to break open the heavens over my life, and that tumor disappeared before the doctors could operate on it!
I believe that we limit God when we put limits on where we think God can or cannot move.
I Have Been Raised in Many Denominations and Looking Back, I Have No Regrets!
I have been raised in First Church of God, Church of God, Methodist, Free Methodist, in both non-Spirit filled churches and Spirit-Filled churches. Looking back, I have no regrets! I believe it took all of these denominations to get me to where God wants me to be today. I have learned to appreciate God showing up anywhere He wants to, and that is in every church!
They say if you go high above the earth you cannot see the border lines of nations, countries or states like you do on a map. God is taking us higher in the Spirit to see what He sees...no denominational lines or walls between His Body. He has people in every church or fellowship whose heart is beating for Him!
My mother testifies of visiting a church and getting healed of cancer just sitting in the pew before the service started. She later learned that that church didn't believe in healing. God must have been in that church anyhow!
My mother's healing to save her foot from being amputated came from a divine appointment with a Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, a few years ago. It is one of the finest hospitals in the nation. I thank God for Presbyterians! By the way, God sometimes uses hospitals and doctors to bring forth healing and miracles in our lives. Jesus even chose "Doctor Luke" to be one of His disciples.
Recently, I called a brother who I hadn't connected with in years. Long ago we seemed to drift apart over our different beliefs in God's Word about healing, and he had gone to another denominational church. Since I was going for a heart catheterization and I knew he had been to the same hospital for a test, I thought I would call him. As our conversation was coming to an end, he asked if he could pray for me for a good report. I, of course, said yes.
As he began to pray for me, I was amazed at the anointing upon his life and prayer! And I was even more amazed as he began to pray the prayer of faith for healing for me. Little did I know how God had been working in this brother's life the many years we had been separated. I sensed he was more grounded in the Lord than I now was.
As I called him a few days later and gave him the good report, he had told me that he had all of the elders of his church praying for me the night before my heart catheterization! I was so moved to hear that another church, who didn't fully agree with me in certain ways, now was praying for me regardless of what differences we have had in the past. No wonder I got a good report on my heart test!
I Have Finally Heard the Doctor "Testifying" What I Had Been "Prophesying" For Years Concerning My Health!
What amazed me even more was that my heart catheterization showed that since my last test in 2003, there has been no further build up of plaque in my arteries! For five years the plaque in my arteries has been arrested and has not increased one bit! What really amazed me was what this heart doctor said next: "Your heart is good. You cannot have a heart attack the way it looks to me!"
Could it be that when we continue to prophesy our healing, regardless of our feeling, that we will begin to hear our doctors testifying to what we are prophesying? All praise goes to the Lord Jesus Christ (and by me not eating everything I would like to stuff myself with)!
I am learning that my healing could be waiting in another church, in another brother or sister whom I had written off years ago. I am learning that God writes off no church or denomination or people. God works behind the scenes while we think that it's only "our" church or fellowship that has it all together!
I sense that even as our government needs to reach across party lines and look past their differences to be healthy as a nation, we, God's people, must also reach across denominational lines to receive the Lord's fullness for our spiritual nourishment and for His healing to be released more fully. The person whom you thought that you couldn't agree to walk with years ago, may now have the gift of healing for you with the name of your sickness written on it! No wonder God's commandment is to love one another like our lives depended on it.
On the Cross When Jesus Stretched Out His Arms So Wide, He Was Reaching Beyond Our Differences and Walls that Separate Us
"Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron's beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments; as the dew of Hermon and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the LORD commanded the blessing, even life forevermore." Psalm 133:1-3
Are we willing to be stretched and reach out our arms to move past the things that separate us from one another in the Body of Christ? Will we do this so the world will see the hands of the Lord reaching out to them, whom He loves as much as He loves us?
"For God so loved the whole world that He gave His only Son..." John 3:16, paraphrased
Will you stretch out your arms with mine, and reach out as far as Jesus stretched out His arms for you and me? Let's keep stretching until we reach the world for Him.

There is always hope

(Small extract from her testimony shared here ~ to read the rest go to the website link at the bottom of this post)

I especially like to share wonderful things.. There is much to be gleaned from this story.. Scriptures that have spoken to me.. helps for believing for miracles and healings and things we have prayed for that have not yet manifested that we can see. Ways to speak and act as we set our hopes on the LORD and HIS way of doing things.. And I think the most important is to be able to thank the LORD for trials and troubles from within which helps lift us above because WE will come through even the valley of the shadow of death because the LORD walks with us and we can do all things when remain in HIS way..

Extract from the testimony..

When Aldo came out of theatre, they kept him alive with machines. Every machine you can think of. He was lying like that for a week.
After a week, on Saturday, I went home for the first time. I stayed in a room at the hospital, across the passage from the ICU, during the week. I was hurting, but calm. That Saturday night I had a dream. I saw my child’s fingers shrinking. It turned black and shrank, and I saw his lips shrinking and turning black as well. It was a terrible dream to have. I experienced in my spirit that I was watching my child die.
I said: “Aldo, why are you dying? But you know what, I have held on to you for so long, that I can’t anymore – it will be better for you with Jesus.” “Do you remember,” I asked him in this dream, “how I always told you it’s not enough that you know Jesus, but that Jesus should also know you?” “Mommy knows that you have accepted Jesus into your heart, but I have to let go of you know.”
In my dream Aldo answered me: “Mom, speak life over me! Speak life!” I did so immediately. “In the name of Jesus, you shall live, and you shall have life in abundance.” I said it, and the minute I said it, I saw how his fingers started growing again and how the color came back to his lips. My whole being shook.
The next thing, in my dream, he was crying, although he was in a coma, which makes it impossible for him to cry. Startled, I woke up and wondered what on earth was happening to me. And I said to the Lord: “For a mother, going through what I’m going through at this stage, this sure was a terrible dream!” But that dream made me realize that life and death lies within the power of the tongue, just like Proverbs teaches us. (Proverbs 18:21) Anyone who uses the tongue shall reap the rewards of his words. It doesn’t say he might, it says he shall!
I could see, the minute I started speaking life, how Aldo’s fingers started growing and growing. John 10 says it beautifully: “satan came to steal, but I came so you can have life, and life in abundance.” In abundance!
The next morning early, back at the hospital, Thinus said to me: “Retha, we nearly lost him during the night. So nearly...” I told him, yes, I saw, my spirit experienced it. I know you might say that lots of people have dreams like this in times of trauma, but I say to you: “The Word of God teaches me that He speaks to us through dreams, visions and His Word. He speaks!”
I told Thinus about the dream, and how I saw Aldo dying, and how Aldo said we must speak life. Also how I told Aldo he will have life, and life in abundance, and how, the next minute, his fingers started growing. That’s just what we did then. We marched around his hospital bed, speaking life, speaking life.
Have you noticed how people can pronounce death? Over their marriages, their finances? And over their kids as well. Church people, they call themselves. I urge you: watch what you say, think what you say! Life and death is within the power of the tongue, and you shall reap the reward of your words.

DEAR GOD

I want to thank You for what you have already done. I am not going to wait until I see results or receive rewards; I am thanking you right now. I am not going to wait until I feel better or things look better; I am thanking you right now. I am not going to wait until people say they are sorry or until they stop talking about me; I am thanking you right now.. I am not going to wait until the pain in my body disappears ; I am thanking you right now. I am not going to wait until my financial situation improves; I am going to thank you right now. I am not going to wait until the children are asleep and the house is quiet; I am going to thank you right now. I am not going to wait until I get promoted at work or until I get the job; I am going to thank you right now. I am not going to wait until I understand every experience in my life that has caused me pain or grief; I am thanking you right now. I am not going to wait until the journey gets easier or the challenges are removed;

I am thanking you right now. I am thanking you because I am alive. I am thanking you because I made it through the day's difficulties. I am thanking you because I have walked around the obstacles.

I am thanking you because I have the ability and the opportunity to do more and do better.

I'm thanking you because FATHER, YOU haven't given up on me.

God is just so good, and he's good all the time.

God is greater

God is greater then our dreams.
God is greater then our circumstances.
God is greater then our imagination.
God is greater then our thoughts.
God is greater then our troubles.
God is greater then our hurts.
God is greater then our debts.
God is greater then our possibilities.
