People warn about following our feelings and some dismiss feelings altogether. But what about Godly sorrow and contrition? Are these emotions a product of truth? Emotions, or feelings, seem joined with truth in some way. How can we dismiss Gods chastening as well? Its not joyful but it can be felt, right?

    Whats your opinion?

I wasn't aware people warn about our feelings and dismiss them. I'd focus on what The Bible says though. Many men of The Bible wept. I personally often feel sad/sorrow over spiritual things.

I think emotion or feelings are fine as long as they're warranted

We can feel and experience being crucified with Christ.

Emotions in and of themselves are not bad, we simply should not let them be our primary motivator. That is supposed to be the spirit. This is because both the spirit and the flesh can invoke emotions. For instance I think we are all familiar with the flesh invoking emotions of anger or sorrow often because the behavior of those around us. But have you ever watched the news and heard a tragic story about someone you don't know and will probably never meet and been moved to tears or outrage (or both) because of it?

I believe one is designed to stir us into offense or bitterness and the like, the other is designed to stir us to prayer and/or Godly action. But before we take any action based on emotion we should always take time to consider the source.

That being said it is also entirely possible (in fact it SHOULD happen) to be moved by the spirit into action without any emotional stirring whatsoever. To put it another way, the spirit CAN stir our emotions, but emotions are not automatically an indicator of the spirit.

Yes people warn against letting feelings dictate truth. But what about biblical feelings? They are truth imo.

Can or does? Godly sorrow inst an indication of the Spirit? What about Gods chastening? It seems that it can be felt.

From God, it is KNOWN IN SPIRIT. Spiritual 'emotions' , in Scripture,

are completely different from soulish or of the flesh.

If the flesh or the soul is in power/ control / that is a problem.

When the spirit is, that is as it should be, according to all of God's Word, Plan and Purpose in Christ Jesus.

I would say it is closer to TRIES.

Godly sorrow is the beginning of repentance and as such we should always be open to it and I think it should be felt. However, people can refuse to repent and that can begin to harden their hearts to God's conviction to the point where they really don't feel like they are doing anything wrong anymore. Every time we feel the touch of Holy Spirit conviction and we attempt to ignore it or rationalize it away we numb ourselves a little bit more to it's touch. God never stops trying, but when this happens it becomes difficult to recognize it anymore. Many times these are the situations where people need a in your face, crying at the altar experience to break through the walls they have built.

    As written in all Scripture,
    and
likely ONLY IN SCRIPTURE (only Scripture separates soul and spirit),

your spirit can (and does?) have 'feelings'/'emotions' as God Says. (in Scripture).

Anyone's flesh/ soul/ can and does have emotions and feelings also, but they are carnal and unprofitable - useless in God's Purpose and God's Kingdom.

If you recognize what are you feeling, if you know, then its the same as hearing or seeing is thrustworhty the same like that. When God does something in you, you sometimes can feel it and you know what happened.

Part of the bible is written of what people with their spiritual senses saw or felt. Like visions, that the Holy spirit moved them to do something etc etc.

What are you saying? Some feelings good, or all feelings are bad?

Isnt Godly sorrow and contrition felt by all believers? And Gods chastening as well?

All feelings of the flesh are flesh, and profit nothing.

What is of the spirit is spirit, and gives life.

Spirit and flesh are opposed to each other EVERY DAY - at war, great conflict, always.

Yes, there is a lot we can feel, and is true, only because people are confused by what they feel, doesn't mean what we feel doesn't have meaning or can't be trusted, feelings from God can be trusted, you only need to know if it was God or not.

Feelings have their place, even in the Christian life. However, they should be considered in light of what God says. Contrition and godly sorrow leads to repentance, that's biblical. Attrition is what we read in the lives of Judas and Esau. We must correlate those feelings with what the Scriptures say.

Ever feel like praying deep inside, but cannot say the words? "Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words. And he who searches hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God" (Romans 8:26-27). God will condescend to such a person that he will intercede for him on his behalf for exactly what is in his heart, but according to his will.
