• Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.

  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Amen, that

It is gonna be hard to change your thought life. I suggest also that you email the woman one more time just to say, " I won't be available for awhile. I need to work on some stuff at home right now." Then, connect with the Lord over your thought life. Focus on Bible verses that God shows you and memorize them. Do not further connect with the woman, because what you do NOT need is any further food for thought.

Remember that a man who thinks with lust about another woman has already committed adultery in his heart. Don't let it get that far!

I have merged the two threads on this same topic together in this one forum. I feel both views ( male and female ) are warrented here, and posting same in two forums is spamming.

For my 2cents, stop the emailing and question yourself why? Bring this before the L-rd, to help you with this, as you can't do it yourself.

There is somewhere in the scriptures talk of strongholds of the mind and also the renewing of the mind.
I believe this is extremely dangerous not only for the physical but your mental stability is at stake here.
I am almost to the point of thinking of a prayer group to pray over you and get your mind on the right track.
I find if my mind don't work right then everything is out of sinc.
This can happen to any one of us it does not matter how young or how old.
You are flirting with danger and that is a fact.
The reason I am so concerned I had this happen and it hurts.
Stop it while you can.

I can’t get her off my mind.

If you can flush a toilet, you can flush thoughts out of your mind.

2 Cor. 10:5b bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ,

Sometimes the serpent wants to put thoughts in our mind, and then we just use the power in the Precious Blood of Jesus.

James 1:13-15
Let no one say when he is tempted, "I am tempted by God"; for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone. [14] But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed. [15] Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death.
