So tell me would a Christian sin by committing adultery? Is Paul talking merely about physical adultery in the first part of the chapter? Is there such a thing as spiritual adultery? How did Israel commit adultery with God? Can one be married or espoused to Jesus while married to the law? Is this not only adultery but also necrophilia also forbidden by the law? How disgusting!Just as well as you do meant that I am no better than you. For I am a sinner saved only by the grace of God as is all who come to Him.
You would have also seen Romans 7 :
10 And the commandment, which was ordained to life, I found to be unto death.
11 For sin, taking occasion by the commandment, deceived me, and by it slew me.
12 Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good.
13 Was then that which is good made death unto me? God forbid. But sin, that it might appear sin, working death in me by that which is good; that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful.
That includes the Sabbath. Why should we neglect that which is Holy, Just and Good? Is not holiness of God?
