ELCA/ELCIC ties to Guyana and Suriname

Representatives from the ELCA, ELCIC, the ELCA Florida-Bahamas Synod, and the leaders of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Guyana as well as the Evangelical Lutheran Kirk in Suriname recently concluded a meeting to further ties and strengthen the communities. A further meeting in Florida to meet with with clergy and Synod staff for education on worship & music and church management is being planned for the fall of 2020.

I am very happy that the ELCA is reaching out to other Evangelical Lutheran communities and synods, it can only be a good thing for the overall global Lutheran church.
