Elon Musk agreed with Bukele

After U.S. President Donald Trump called for the impeachment of a judge, President of El Salvador Nayib Bukele asserted in a post on X that "The U.S. is facing a judicial coup."

Elon Musk agreed with the foreign leader, sharing the tweet and commenting, "1000%."

In a post on Truth Social, Trump, apparently referring to Judge James E. Boasberg of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, called the judge a "Radical Left Lunatic of a Judge, a troublemaker and agitator," noting that he had been nominated by President Barack Obama.

Prior to Trump's presidency, it was very rare for a district judge to block presidential orders --this is a new tactic by the Democrats to use the judiciary to attack the executive branch

but SCOTUS will have final authority on all of this

The Democrats, and some disgruntled members of the GOP tried lawfare last year to keep Trump off the presidential ballot in certain states, and failed.

The SCOTUS decision regarding Trump's deportation of the Venezuelan terrorist group will be a landmark decision. The two questions that could be decided are

1. Zadvydas v. Davisholds: a 5-4 case that concluded illegal aliens have a right to due process under the 14th Amendment (and thus protections of the 5th amendment as well). This largely hinges on the term "person" vs. "citizen". The majority took the term "person" to refer to anyone, citizen or otherwise.

In his dissent, Scalia quoted Justice Robert H. Jackson in his dissent, asserting that "Due process does not invest any alien with a right to enter the United States, nor confer on those admitted the right to remain against the national will."

I agree with Scalia and would add that the idea everyone in the US illegally is entitled to lengthy court proceedings on taxpayer dollar is absurd, since this could easily be extended to international terrorist groups and even foreign special forces. The 14th Amendment was not crafted to protect such people.

2. The scope and limitations of the Alien Enemies Act

I think that the phrase "predatory incursion" will allow the president to use this act to remove terrorists and international criminal gangs without running afoul of the decision above (which I would like to see overturned).

We can either live in a nation where criminal gangs of illegal aliens operate with impunity within our borders, or reestablish the rule of law

Just shows Bukele knows as little as Musk does about American law.
