ecstasy problems
Ive taken enough E in my life, and Im trying to stop the use. it's ironic to me 'cause you feel the great bliss, and Im brainwashed thinking that MDMA is 'God'. I feel like Im in heaven, but of course, it's all deception. How do I make the true God my 'ecstasy' of my life? Im not sure if I could say that about God but what can I do to make the right decision?
hey OhhhChung. My name is Norm and I am one of the Recovery Mods here and I want to welcome you to the Recovery Forum.
You said already one thing so very true- the high or heavenly feeling you get from the rush is deception.
Allow me to ask: do you feel your addicted? could you stop and walk away for good?
You ask what can you do. The first thing is you making up your mind that you have a problem and need help. Next thing is get to a meeting.
Step 1 -
We admitted that we were powerless over our addiction, that our lives had become unmanageable.
"I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my sinful nature. For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out." (Romans 7:18)
If you dont know of where one is in your city, you can go to the web site and look it up:
http://www.na.org/
If possible, I suggest you look into Celebrate Reovery, a christian based AA/NA Recovry/12 Step Program
http://www.celebraterecovery.com/
go to the link, click on canada andf your provionce and then look for your city. I really recommend the program. Its kinda like a AA/NA church service! with testimonies, music, worshiping, sponsor program, people that will care and help you and PRAY for you, etc.
I never did ectasy but I done just about everything else. I been clean for 4 yrs now and sober for 3.
I really suggest you get to a meeting, look in the phone book, if theres no Celebrate recovery, call around and see if a church as an inhouse recovery ministry. Or if there is nothng else available, go to a NA meeting and ask God to send someone your way to help you. But go and get help.
You need to talk, got questions, I am a PM away.
