CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Me and my entire family of women are super excited about Eclipse!
Me and my mom aren't planing to see it until maybe 3 weeks after because last year was crazy. And it was sold out for 2 weeks!! Plus, I don't think I could take all the little girls screaming. This was my favorite book of the four, so I want to enjoy it.
It'd be cool though, if I could see it the day it opens because they're showing all three. But that's been sold out since May. lol

Ashley Greene is the perfect Alice, I haven't heard anyone say otherwise, either! I love all of the people cast for the Cullen clan, except (as others have said) Nikki Reed. She's pretty, but she's not drop-dead, jaw-dropping gorgeous, as Rosalie should be.
Well, I frankly don't like Robert P. playing Edward, as far as looks go (he is totally not a Greek-god wannabe), BUT...he totally captures the personality and essence of Edward, and for that, I can't complain. It's just the looks that fall short for me.
I like Kristen as Bella. As someone else said, "plain" doesn't mean "ugly", it just means ordinary and unremarkable. But remember that, from the beginning, Edward (and most of the other guys at school) are smitten with Bella, so she's far from ugly. I think her beauty is subtle and underplayed, and the guys are drawn by something besides just her looks. I don't think Kristen is gorgeous or sexy (though Hollywood tries hard with her big hair extensions and dark-painted eyes), but I think she's got striking, interesting, delicate features.

I don't think any guy could capture Edward's perfect look from the book. It's quite impossible. I think Rob does a good job.

hmmm I was always disappointed with Robert as Edward...though I couldn't find a suitable replacement!
I've never liked Kirsten as Bella i can't figure out what she just never got her quite right for me!
Rosalie I was outraged at that one!
