I'm done with politics. It has had a detrimental spiritual impact on me. I still stand for what I know is right and I'll still vote, but I am not going to debate and/or fight anymore. And I'm staying away from anything that would be a trigger for me.
Perceived ongoing injustice is something that can create resentment over time and festers into great bitterness and ultimately wrath. Doesn't matter which side you're on... everyone is so angry because they perceive injustice..and for some it becomes bitterness and then becomes wrath.
You ever wonder why the basement dweller eventually get the gun? It festers and consumes. It's why people take to the streets to do violence. It's why people say and do the most horrible things in the name of justice. Begin to devalue the lives on other side and they become nothing more than a "problem" in need of being "solved".
The world is eat up with it. I'm done.
