CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I feel like I'm talking to myself...haha oh well.
For the last year I've been with an abusive boyfriend. [It only happened twice.] I was living with him, which, I know was the first mistake. However, I loved him a lot and he drug me down. My self-esteem is so low over it. I have moved almost 700 miles away from where I was, where my immediate family lives. Now I'm living with my aunt. Everything's ok here. I'm just so home sick. It's unreal. I absolutely love my family here, but I don't know.I was thinking about going to college down here but I feel like I might be able to do the same thing there and be with my family and come to med school here in four years. I don't know. I have so many decisions. I have no earthly idea where to start.
