  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

How many felt the earthquake back in April? Now if we just keep praying maybe God will shake his people to seek his face!

It seems like something is happening here in Indiana. A couple of kids I knew 17 years ago are now on fire. One just got out of jail and is a preacher. Another helped me to start a Bible Study. One of the couples that attends were Amish just a few months ago. Now they are getting themselves established on the Scriptures as the basis for their beliefs.

I'm in Indiana, slept through the quake. I felt the aftershock the next day though. Oddest thing I ever felt. I live near Amish farms. That's awesome to hear about your friends and your Bible study! I agree that something is happening in Indiana. Something special. Our church is growing so fast our building is suddenly too small. We have had to rent out another facility to hold a 3rd service on Sunday mornings. We have recently gained land and are going to start building our new building. It's awesome.
