I've seen it around game stores. It must be pretty dated by now? Or have there been expansions? Is it an RPG?

Chris Taylor, the guy who made it, is working on a sequel at the moment.

Yea, Dungeon Seige is pretty old, though it is still a great game and is comparable to many others (ex: Diablo 2, Planescape: Torment, etc...)

Recently an expansion has been released and I have heard that it is quite good; new weapons, characters, the usual. What is most intriguing is that they expanded the custom creator, so that users could modify the game to their tastes.

That's all I've heard so far, gotta pick it up sometime.

I never played the expansion, but the original was pretty repetitive, and the multiplayer was awful. No offense or nothing, but I wouldn't recommend it... well, maybe for 10-20 bucks if the price went down and you were really bored.

[Dust and Ashes]

You can download some good mods for DS. Elemental is looking amazing. It's still in early stages but the one I got a couple of months ago was sweet. It is a completely different game. The skill system, magic, everything. Even the feline player model looks great.

I really enjoyed the original game as well. It can get repetitive in single player but the graphics are very nice, even for today. I haven't tried the expansion.

Oh so it's got mods now, my estimation of it has risen a little, mods extend the life and fun of any game!
