Here are some questions that came to mind:

Did Lord Jesus get called up to an aliyah?


Was Lord Jesus a cohen or levi or other?


Is Rabbinic Judaism worship vastly different from the Judaism practiced in the days when Lord Jesus was on Earth?

Did Lord Jesus get called up to an aliyah? Read Luke 4:14-30.


Was Lord Jesus a cohen or levi or other? He is a descendant of King David and rightful heir to the thrown in Jerusalem. Unlike all others Kings of Israel however He would also serve as High Priest, not because He is a descendant of Aaron or Levi but because He is a Priest/King from the order of Melchitzadek.


Is Rabbinic Judaism worship vastly different from the Judaism practiced in the days when Lord Jesus was on Earth? There were many forms of Judiasm during the days of our L-RD. Because Pharasical Judaism was the heaviest influence amongst the people in their daily life it became the largest influence in "Rabbinical" Judaism. That beings said there are certainly some differences that have evolved over time.

Thanks for answering my questions. This is a good forum. If and when I have more questions, I will come here to ask.

I always wondered about how Lord Jesus worshipped while He was on Earth. I pictured the services in the temple like the one I used to go to. Lord Jesus did everything, like reciting the Shema and touching the Torah with the prayer book as it went pass. Even sang Adon Olam at the end of services.
