YEP caught in the act. Well, not really she left after I found her and came back after the yard work done. Then she laid another egg and left.
I suppose they are wild in some places, they are also domesticated. We used to have Muscovies. They are an interesting duck.
She wasn't bothered by the mower, only the string weeder..once that was done she returned while I mowed.
Well I guess this one's domesticated !
She seems pretty used to people then.
She better be. I've decided that as long as she uses the grass to traverse, and no poop ends up on the walkway... she can stay until her ducklings hatch.... I'm putting the house up for sale. This is beside the entryway. Perhaps no one will notice and will think the eggs are fake like the quail and rocks I have there?
