I am not a practicing homosexual, although, I will be, because I am certain in my assertions it is not a sin. It is a valid orientation, and it isn't even an "alternate lifestyle", it's the SAME lifestyle for gay people. I have done thousands and thousands of hours of research on this, and joined a loving and spirit-filled Church that agrees with my beliefs, which as been a God-sent.I am sorry on behalf of all of the biblically ignorant people that may have said that you are not saved. I don't doubt that such ignorance certainly exists. However, I would caution you against assuming that because someone tells you that a homosexual lifestyle is sinful that that means that homosexuals cannot be saved. To believe that would mean that no one is saved except Christ, because we are all sinners. I have never seen a Scripture that indicates that homosexuality is any more sinful than, e.g., heterosexual lust, disrespectful language, malice, etc.: things which most of us are guilty of. I would also caution against accepting the belief that, because you are saved, and because you are a practicing homosexual (hypothetically speaking; it is none of my business whether you are in fact), that your homosexual behavior is not a problem. As Christians we are always called to grow spiritually and morally, which requires humbly accepting biblical teaching about our behavior.
