I don't know why I didn't think of this earlier, but here it is. Please pray that God would send regular rain to Australia, particularly the East coast. We have been in drought for 5 years. Dams (even major ones for Sydney) are getting empty.
Lots of country towns have been trucking water in for drinking for months now. We have water restrictions of different levels, like no watering outside, no washing cars, right up to no showers etc. (side note- some of these should be permanent, I don't think we should use drinking water on plants at any time).
Crops are failing, farmers can't plant, or plant but then the crops die. Our second longest river is drying up.
There has been some rain recently, for which we are praising God! Please pray that God will send more rain, experts reckon it will take above average rainfall for the next 4 or 5 years to catch up again.
