They knew more than what is written in the Bible! Do you think they were instructed not to teach what Jesus taught:

Ya, so she was blessed.... many people are "blessed" in many ways. They are still humans and still cannot hear prayers and it is still wrong to pray to anyone but the Father, Son or Holy Spirit.

I love to ask Mary and the Saints to intercede. Awesome! Jesus's Mother, given to us at the foot of the cross! Awesome! Saints, in heaven, offering up our prayers to God with incense.

Jesus gave us Moses and Elijah at His transfiguration. He showed us that they were not 'dead humans'.

Well, Elijah left no corpse, but, if you could find it, Moses definitely is dead, in this dimension.

Last I heard, we are not to seek to talk to the dead.
