ditto MVA.... it is interesting to note (not surprising though) that whatever "theological" differences we may have, when we met in person they were a non-issue.... The reality I think is for most people religion is but one part of their total being....

I would have to agree. Hopefully we will have eons to discuss things to our hearts content.

The split removes part of the reason discussion boards exist - to DISCUSS and experience an exchange of ideas, whether others agree or not. Taken to an extreme we should each one, individually, have our own personal spot where nobody else is allowed. But that would be a bit ridiculous, wouldn't it. But that's what has happened, just not quite that extreme, and I'm sure it has caused some to not want to visit CF any longer on both sides of the supposed split.

The upgrades happening in the middle of all this certainly didn't help either.

For me personally, we had our third kid this week and we're in the middle of moving, so being on the CF boards isn't exactly a priority. We had an 8 lb. baby boy! God is good!

The problem being, at least as far as Moriah could tell, that a certain handful simply did not want to play nice sufficiently to achieve this exchange. They wanted to snipe at others, push their buttons, and then hit the report button crying "foul" when they got answered back and either had their little sniping schemes exposed for what they bes or bes told in no uncertain terms that such behavior bes not welcome. Some apparently wanted to control the whole discussion so as to be perfectly free to openly and completely crap on anyone who did not share their views but then running to the moderators for clemency and "protection" when the person they attacked and flamed and provoked responded back to them. This handful of bully crybabies (first bullying then playing innocent victim crybaby) ruined it for everyone, IMO.

Please note this does not point fingers in any direction so lets not get in a knot thinking this lays blame all on one side. Moriah will point out, however, that because of some of them, one of the most interesting and intelligent and articulate among us can no longer be here. And that's a freaking shame because the ONLY reason he bes not here bes because he got systematically harassed, provoked, gaslit, and run off the board by some of that bully/crybaby contingent who wanted him off the board, period. And now that he might post SAFELY here in THIS section we have been deprived of his vibrant spirit, his passion for God's people, and his intelligent and interesting discourse.

Thanks Dean and Longhair. Going through that is amazing. I think we'll stop now that we have three though. :)

We've stopped at three, also. Of course, two of ours came at the same time. :)

I have always felt that witnessing the process of childbirth is one of the ultimate reasons for believing in the existence of God.

Witnessed both of my boys being born - awesome!!!

AMEN! In 100% agreement with you there. Most awestruck I've ever been in my life.

Longhair,

you certainly have demonstrated your good genes!
