Some of it may be the rollover from the upgrade. CF in general seems to have had an attendance drop during the transition.
Or it could be the demoniac in your midst. Whatever. It bes God's demoniac and He will do with it as He pleases. ;)

Friend Moriah,

You are one of the many reasons I continue to read here at Progressive SDA.

I am pretty sure that it is true that site attendance CF wide is down. This has happened with every upgrade, and is temporary.

I would say the split up is the reason. People here for the most part already believe the way they do so it isn't very much fun to sit around and agree with each other. This is why I float around and spend very little times in Catholic Forums.

Every time there is a change, there seems to be a drop to some degree. It is hard to get used to a new look and figure out the new ways of doing things. There has been a decrease in many groups.

They will be upgrading for a few weeks. Hopefully, after that, we will see fewer issues in regards to getting on CF and having loading problems etc.

You have spoken out of turn.

There were some on both sides of the fence that wanted a split and there were some on both sides that did not.

Yes, some on each side wanted and some did not.
We really need to bury the hatchet though and each side, and each of us on each side, let go of any animosity, prejudice, clinging to grudges and offenses, etc. We need to learn to accept and love one another as the Lord desires us to be ONE in HIM even if we happen to disagree on some doctrinal matters. Some believe unity in heart and faith to constitute compromise of the truth. Moriah believes it to constitute the narrow gate into the heart of Truth itself.

Lets concentrate on glorifying God by loving one another, instead of simply retreating into our safe corners with backs turned and arms folded. God never gives up on anyone. Where sin abounds, grace abounds much more. The harder the heart the greater the yearning of God to bring it healing. He bes amazing. Let's not look at each other picking nits but bes looking at Him. The more you stare at the light the more you gets it in your eyes till when you looks away you don't see whats there you see blobs of light and the afterimage of what shone in it. That's how it bes with Jesus. The more we behold Him, the more His afterimage clings to our spiritual retinas and when we look at another person we see Him superimposed on top instead of whatever wrinkles warts and flaws they have.

Unless I'm totally wrong the split was 'mainly' saught by those who identify themselves as Traditional. Is that not correct? By the way, I read that you were in Wa State not long ago, you should have pm'd me, I would have treated you to dinner.

People on both sides were asking for a split. Not everyone though, and I don't think it will do any good to take a poll as to who it was.

Sorry it was not me in Washington state - if it was I certainly would have taken the time to meet up. I have only met one from this forum in person and so far I have not been disappointed. Batting 1000 !!!!!

Kudos to Stormy.

ditto MVA.... it is interesting to note (not surprising though) that whatever "theological" differences we may have, when we met in person they were a non-issue.... The reality I think is for most people religion is but one part of their total being....

So there was no WWF style wrestling - that's a shame I would have paid to see that! :p
