CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

My dear sweet loving sister, PRAY WITH ALL YOUR HEART to allow JESUS to do the driving, I PROMISE YOU that the Holy Spirit will help you!!! No I never tried this with driving but I did try this with talking to a VERY difficult boss and I allowed the Spirit talk for me, IT WORKS it really does. I will CERTAINLY pray for you PLEASE dear sweet sister KEEP ME POSTED!!!!! I HAVE FAITH that you will do well.

I was scared and uneasy behind the wheel at first as well. Lots of practice helps to overcome this uneasiness. I can ensure you that you will enjoy driving once you feel at ease and find freedom driving.

I did not go on the road but practiced many things that I hadn't in a few years or more. I am better than I thought and was very comfortable for the most part behind the wheel. 
Next time friends want to take me to some back streets as well as DMV parking lot again. I am blessed beyond words.
My goal is to take test in March.

I understand that fear very well. I am only comfortable driving in certain areas. I live on an island and will not drive off of it. I will not drive to certain places on the island. I am praying for you. It can be really hard to deal with.

Of couse, it's good to be prudent and not cocksure about driving, CM, as it is, in effect, a lethal weapon. But why be nervous? It's a mechanical device which does what you tell it to do. Quantum physics plays no part in it.
In fact, driving is so much a matter of habit, that the danger arises from it's being too easy to do. To a large extent our autonomic intelligence takes over. You must be creating imaginary bugbears as you drive in those parking lots! As I'm sure you know, our mind works best when we are relaxed and not stressed, but I suppose that is why you are asking for prayers. They can help in just about any situation, can't they?
