Driver Honors Confederacy by Retiring with Same Number of Wins

Imagine being a 50-year-old loser quitting a job you’re terrible at, over a traitor flag you supposedly don’t care about, while acting like a 5-year-old.

Hey tulc,

What a really moving story that spells out the real problems with flying the confederate flag. It's really not a lot different than flying the Nazi flag. You don't see it waving over statues and programs in Germany today. Somehow they're smarter than us in this idea of letting go of the past and moving towards a brighter future. And the Nazi flag flew over the entire country with most all Germans in that day supporting it. The confederate flag only and ever flew over one portion of the United States and was divisive in this country from the day it was first flown.

Germans don't seem to have the same problem with people accepting their new flag and letting go of the old flag of hate and oppression. And their wounds are more recent than ours. Definitely a wiser people.
