I'm basically shuttered too. I don't mind it, but want to grocery shop, but my boyfriend freaks each time I mentioned it. So, I ordered some food on-line to be delivered to the house.

The idea of a drive through confession seems very blasphemous and insulting to the sacrament, I’m quite puzzled that some Churches would do this here and there. That’s just my take on it.

Here's how it works in my parish. Our pastor or associate brings out a chair and sits in the church parking lot. He has his stole on and a penitent drives up in their car and stops, turns off the car, rolls down the window, and, while six feet apart, confesses his sins. It's far enough away from everything else that nobody else can hear a thing. Other cars wait farther away in the parking lot.

The sacrament is about a person telling their sins, expressing their contrition, and being absolved. It can be done on ships at sea, battlefields, hospitals, prisons, homes, anywhere it is needed. And right now it is needed in the parking lot of the church while the inside of the church is closed and everyone has to keep their distance. It's not blasphemy. It's God being with us in our time of need.

I suspect our priests would do that in nasty weather but the one time I saw it our associate had his own chair.

You Orthodox may keep your nasty opinions of the sacraments of the Church to yourselves, in your own forum, but spreading your hate and disrespect here in the Catholic forum is rude.
