Drive thread 2 (Split from American Idol)

This has nothing to do with American Idol.

But in the previous AI thread, I saw some people talking about a new show called "Drive" that comes on after AI or something?

I just read on CNN that the show has been cancelled after just 2 episodes.

Ouch! That must've hurt. I've never even heard of it.

I only saw a few commercials for it myself, but I didn't watch any of the episodes.

Talk about time and money down the drain. Imagine all the effort that actors, writers, directors, and stagehands have to put into a show, only to have it get cancelled after 2 episodes?

And chances are they taped an entire season in advance.

After Tuesday nights AI or Wednesday night? If Wednesday night I can see the low ratings (Lost comes on at 10 on a different station)

I liked that show actually...thought it had promise. OH well!

I felt the same way about Vanished which aired for several weeks, then got the axe. They put the remaining episodes on MySpace or YouTube or something, but I never did see them. So I don't know what ended up happening.

Well, as you can tell from my username...I like sci-fi. And this is the second time one of Nathan Fillions series has been cancelled...and he's a fantastic actor! I'm bummed.

I watched some of it and I thought it was vicious and despicable.
It was full of senseless violence.
There was a maniacal mastermind manipulating people.
I am SO GLAD it got canceled!
I was so angry after I saw the first 2 episodes.
(They were back to back, and my husband had the remote,
so we were surfing between 2 or 3 different shows.)
I saw enough to know I despised the show.
