  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Tell us about your dreams in here. Good or bad. I only have a couple.

Not sure why I feel I should share this but I think it is very important. I have this dream. Like 4 or 5 times a week. Sometimes more. Well in this dream it is crazy. I am walking through my house, but its not really my house, you know? Its like this hallway with my stuff, I mean its my hallway but its not. Then the door swings open and a man with a green jacket and a rainbow hat starts chasing me. What is that? Then I run through the kitchen and my mom is always cooking waffles. She just looks up and says "hey dont forget breakfast" then I run out the door screaming. I run past the mailbox and the mail man is standing there picking up the letters he dropped. The man chasing me keeps right on me just screaming at me. Screaming something about its his hallway. But I live there you know? But its like its not my hallway. Its his now. This dream is freaking me out. Now when I walk down the hallway I can feel this dream guy and his creepy scream telling me its his hallway. As if I dont have enough problems...

This other dream I am always in a different spot in the dream but this skunk always shows up. I see it coming every time but can never get away fast enough and it sprays me. Now every time I see a skunk in wild or captivity, I am just waiting for it to REALLY happen. But thats not as interesting as the hallway dream.

Weird pregnancy dreams continue. Last night, I was talking in my sleep and told Kirk that "once unicorns reach a certain age, they have a right to decide if they want to be butterfly-raptors". I never knew unicorns had to face such a choice o_O

Last night, I dreamed of nipples. Lots and LOTS of nipples. Twenty five of them, to be specific. They were all in a Christmas stocking for me. (They were bottle nipples!)

Then tonight, I dreamed I was a volcano. I guess I was having digestive issues while sleeping and was feeling nauseous while asleep. I could "feel" the lava and talked in my sleep to tell Kirk to help me because I "couldn't sit up" or I'd "erupt" :D

I had a dream that Canada was flooded. Like seriously flooded. And I was trying to call my mother and my friend Stephen because they were both flying around the country (on different flights), and I wanted to make sure they were OK. Don't ask me why I was worried about people flying 30,000 feet in the air when it was flooding on the ground. But yeah.

My mother came right home. Stephen, on the other hand, ignored my phone calls. I almost sent him a message when I woke up this morning to lecture him that when the country is flooded and I'm trying to call him, call me back!

I actually may still do that. Just to confuse him and see what reply I get.

That is just awesome! I have dreams that spill over into reality and I say things to whoever is there that make absolutely no sense, but make perfect sense to me at the time. I remember everything, just not why it makes sense.

I remember when I was a kid, I had a dream that my mom took my homework, so I got up and walked into my mom's room and just about yelled at her. Also thought my brother was a Klingon once.

I dream EVERY night, usually multiple dreams. They usually fade pretty quickly, so I'll try to share some here on the days they happen, before all the details get foggy :) I've had a handful of impactful, intense dreams that I'll never forget, but honestly, I can't remember the thousands of dreams that I have every year lol. Most of them are weird, nonsensical, mish-mashes of stuff I've seen or thought about the day before or something like that.

I wonder why we forget most of our dreams so quickly? Wonder if there's any scientific research on that.

I write some of my dreams down when I wake up. I did it this morning, but of course I couldn't remember it all. I have very vivid dreams.

I do too. There is a reoccurring dream I have about riding a polar bear in a jungle whilst singing the coconut song. A very silly dream indeed but I have had it since I was a young child.

^_^

I've had my mom yell at me in the past because of things she'd dreamt about only to realize it never happened :D

I dreamed something about riding a bike that broke and wouldn't stop - then some chick was in my way and wouldn't get out of the way when I told her I could not stop, thereby endangering myself and my baby in my mind (which is funny because ... I was on a BIKE... like that wouldn't be dangerous at 8 months pregnant). So when I did finally get the bike stopped, I hunted her down and threw lemonade in her face. Because that would surely show her, lol :D
