If you could afford any breed you'd like, what kind of a pet would you get?

Mine would be Cornish Rex cats - you know, those alien-looking kitties with big ears and curly coat!

I already own my dream dog, a Rottweiller. I love these dogs.

For a cat, heaven forbid, I would like a Himalayan.

It would be hard for me to choose. I think that I would always have the dog that I have cause she is not replaceable. I have had a few dogs since I was little and each one has been so cool, so it would be hard to tell what one would be my dream dog.

I would love a bunch of dogs. One would be a Saint Bernard, another would be a pure breed Akita and the last would be a Bermese Mountain Dog. I LOVE BIG DOGS.

If you're talking about any species, not just dogs and cats, I would recommend reading an issue of Critters magazine. I wrote two articles; one on flying squirrels and the other on 8 different small mammal species that can be kept as pets. I have 9 flying squirrels, 4 hamsters, 2 rabbits, 1 ground squirrel, and 1 prairie dog. I believe that it is wrong to assume that there are only 2 types of pet people (dog and cat people). What do y'all think?

Now I would say unicorn for the wife.
Pegasus for my older daughter, (loves horses and is a daredevil)
Miniture red dragon for me.(it would keep the strays away.)
probably a spider monkey for my daughter.(more outgoing but is more scared of things.)

Better throw in a castle for me to house these pets.

There's a lot of people wanting things other than dogs & cats, such as me and a coati, skunk, oppossum and kinkajou.

My second article in Critters featured skunks and kinkajous, as well as ground squirrels, flying squirrels, fennec foxes, degus, sugar gliders, and gerbils. All are great critters.

That's cool. I'd like to own a ground squirrel. I'm not too fond of flying ones though. I mean they're cool but I just wouldn't like to own them. Do you have them all in the same cage?

I have 3 cages, with 3 flying squirrels in each of them. My ground squirrel shares a cage with my prairie dog (for those of you who don't know, a prairie dog is a type of ground squirrel and not a dog).
