Hi all. Here's an interesting thing I do that is somewhat related to dance:

I am one of a group of people who practice drama set to music. The dramas all pertain to Christianity somehow, and the music is just about anything that's popular. Yes, this means we do Christian artists (dc Talk, Michael W. Smith, Jars of Clay) as well as secular (Bon Jovi, Radiohead, Green Day). Since most songs are a mix of drama and dance, I figured this would be the correct place to post this topic.

So........my point is, what do you all think of it? Is that a good ministry?

It's actually a really good thing to do. People who aren't dance literate will find it easier to follow your performances.
From an artistic point of view, it is good to take into consideration the "language" you decide to use, or that you invent as you go along.

Yeah, we kinda use "language" that pertains to everyday life, something the viewers can physically understand (issues like drug / relationship abuse, loneliness, vanity). In most of the dramas, the character(s) are going through their problem(s), and then we see Jesus get crucified, and take all thein upon himself. Then, the characters are freed, and Satan is defeated.

The biggest part of the ministry to it, though, is the conversations we have with people during / after the performance. The response has been very positive, people are getting the ideas we're putting out, and perhaps getting ever closer to accepting Christ.
