  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

DBZ was good up until the end of the Vegeta saga. When Goku's and Vegeta's attacks collided and they had that power battle, that was still a relatively new idea. However, the idea got overused far too much, the difference in fighting techinques decreased drastically and even the animation quality got worse as time went on. The series simply ran on for too long.

I can't say I'm a big fan.

The pacing is far too slow for my impatient mind. For instance, how many episodes did it take for Goku to defeat Frieza on namek?

Then flash to future trunks and, with one slice of his sword, kills frieza within an episode.

Does anyone eles think the most humorous parts of the dubbing is the titles? Might be paraphrased but here goes:

'Will the people of earth give Goku their energy? Is the world going to end within the devastating blow of Majin Buu? Find out in the next episode of DragonBall Z!"

Title: People of Earth Unite.

0.o After the shock, I laughed for half an hour.

Could rant some more but this post is long enough. If anyone wants more reasons, just ask and I shall reply with the best of my ability.

I thought DragonBall was okay. Not my type of anime, but it was well-made, and I respect it. Then they made DragonBall Z. The animation is great. The storyline isn't bad...but seriously, I don't see the point in watching a bunch of absurdly strong superheros engage in 15 episode battles. Do they HAVE to increase their strength by 10 everytime they start to lose? And like TheLastNobody said, it wouldn't hurt to end the battles a little quicker. I'm pretty impatient, and it always got me mad when I'd watch for 30min only to find out that I have to watch the next episode to see any progress. Then the next episode is the same thing. Over and over. Maybe I didn't give it enough time, but I don't like it.

i liked it until the series started repeating, and repeating, and repeating the same episodes over and over again and of course im to lazy to get up and buy the videos which would be a wast of money. the fights took waaaay to long the freeza one took like 5 episodes which in the show was supposed to be 5 minutes.

I'm gonna guess that I'm one of the few Dragon Ball/Dragon Ball Z fans here (if not the only one). Seems that every anime fan I talk to really hates it, but I really enjoy it a lot. Anyone else out there?
I liked it. There is more to the series than many people give it credit for.

I like Dragonball\Dragonballz Dragonball Grand Tour or GT as it is called is not a true Dragonball series because the creator of the first two did not make it and you met the weird members of anime fandom most do like db\dbz but not dbgt gt was a waste of film in most fans opinions well round here all they show is the first two because of such vehement hate towards dbgt.
