I've liked the relaunched series since I first saw it. And now that I have BBC America there's no need to wait until it goes into syndication or comes out on BBC. The angel shows were particularly good, though there was a bit of deus ex machina that I'm not a big fan of.

Well, we're coming up to our last episode for this season and its gotten GOOD!!

Anyone else been watching?

Where are you up to?

I've been watching some eps Sat. nights on BBC America and yes, it's been a very good season.

As someone who cut his teeth on the Tom Baker era, I applaud the investment in CGI and special effects that the BBC has made while not letting them overwhelm the story lines and character development.

Im going to be honest and say that at first I wasnt so impressed with this new series, and its taken me until these very last episodes to get into it and 'get it'. There is a bit to look back on as far as whats happening in the last two episodes and you think 'Aaaah thats why... '(I wont give much away). My kids are really into it, and tbh, if it werent for the writing, the story and character development, I wouldnt be so impressed.

yeah, its what tied it all together for me and it was SO well written and such.

Spoiler alert...
.........

Im really glad they didnt leave it a cliffhanger... it was a nice neat tidy ending. We can expect certain people to be back. Im just not so keen on waiting until Christmas!!!

David Tennant was my favorite Doctor. I do love Matt. But, you can't go wrong with Ten. I am excited for the new season. Anyone know when it is supposed to start in the US?

Karen Gillan will be on Craig Furgeson's Late Late Show Friday night IIRC. It'll be a nice way to get stoked for Saturday's premier.

I'm surprised that this hasn't been mentioned yet:

BBC News - Doctor Who actress Elisabeth Sladen dies

She'll be missed.

Yes I saw this too, very sad indeed. As a teenage boy back then I found her oh so cute :)

I think she and Tom Baker were one of the best combination's - if not the best in the Dr Who series.

I like the Dr. Who series, but I can't get it where I live. Does anyone know where I can stream it online? I tried to watch it on the BBC website, but it said not available in my area and I don't know how to change the proxy.

Is there a safe site to watch Dr. Who episodes on? Thank you.

Try Netflix, Hulu or BBC America (the Beeb site might block it, but BBCA might let you stream it).
