BUT you did not bring in the Republican principles, nor did you bring in the Republican platform.I am able to formulate an opinion, but this thread is mainly for Republicans to ask questions about Democratic principles, and Democrats to ask questions about Republican principles. In other words, this thread serves a purpose to clear up misconceptions about both parties.
I did later on. If you want, I can create a new thread, but some folks here have a strong distaste for AI, so I do not want to make too many threads related to AI. Also, I had to reset the AI's learning of politics, cos it thinks that 2024 does not exist yet.BUT you did not bring in the Republican principles, nor did you bring in the Republican platform.
The budget bills are all published openly. Any "hidden pork" is right there in black and white for you or anyone to find. They could be somewhere in between what they are now and your straw man example. What I want is bills that address one area at a time, don't have well hidden pork, and that Congresscritters can know exactly what they are voting for. That just isn't the case now.
Why do you place so much trust in an intelligence that doesn’t know what year it is?I did later on. Cos it has worked well for other things, such as making devotionals. Why do you place so much trust in an intelligence that doesn’t know what year it is?
And all the items in Project 2025 are published openly right there in black and white for you or anyone to find in it's 900 pages. The budget bills are all published openly. Any "hidden pork" is right there in black and white for you or anyone to find.
What does that have to do with Trump? And all the items in Project 2025 are published openly right there in black and white for you or anyone to find in it's 900 pages.
And that's how we know what Trump's allies plan to do with his presidency. And all the items in Project 2025 are published openly right there in black and white for you or anyone to find in it's 900 pages.
If you say so.And that's how we know what Trump's allies plan to do with his presidency.
It is how they say so.If you say so.
Agreed. It is not his agenda. Even my machine told me that Project 2025 is unrelated to Donald Trump. That actually surprised me, but it was made by the Heritage Foundation, which did not have any endorsements from Trump. Not much. It’s not his agenda.
Wait, Trump was going to allow other Republicans to set policy (or at least write their policy wish-list) and it wouldn’t have needed the imprimatur of the de-facto head of the party?Agreed. One problem with this is that the Supreme Court recently ruled that the agencies and bureaucrats implementing these bills are no longer given presumption of good faith when converting the bills into working rules. This means that bills with loose or unclear details would be essentially worthless.I do agree with you on this. 2000 page bills are way too long, and I do hope we can live in an era of only 10 page bills
I don't know whether to than you or curse you for this introduction. I only follow a few select characters but she seems like a fun one. Kirsten Schaal does seem like a superb fit.If the MCU ever does a Squirrel Girl movie and doesn't cast Kristen Schaal, I'll be very disappointed.
-- A2SG, with or without the bunny ears, I can go either way....
No, it was not. The bill at the time was still undergoing the amendment process so until all the amendments had been voted on, yea or nay, we couldn't know which amendments made it in or not.The Nancy Pelosi statement that "We'll just have to pass it to see what's in it" was a bit bald.
Is there a way to reverse that Supreme court ruling? It is better to have 5 short bills compared to one long bill. One problem with this is that the Supreme Court recently ruled that the agencies and bureaucrats implementing these bills are no longer given presumption of good faith when converting the bills into working rules. The Supreme Court would have to reverse itself, or Congress would have to pass specific legislation. Of course, SCOTUS could always decide to rule that legislation unconstitutional, which would mean the Constitution would have to be amended. Is there a way to reverse that Supreme court ruling? Hopefully, the SCOTUS could reverse itself. Amending the Constitution is nearly impossible, which is a good thing for the most part. It is too late for politics right now, but the SCOTUS has got to be reformed. 12-18 year term limits would be nice, as well as having at least one SCOTUS judge be of an independent 3rd party. Have a good night, brother. The Supreme Court would have to reverse itself, or Congress would have to pass specific legislation. -- A2SG, good luck with that....
