  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Here is the 2024 GOP platform, summarized by the machine. I do agree that we must fix our borders, and we must try to become energy independent. How we can do that though, there are many ways.

2024 GOP Platform basics explained by the machine. I have no idea why it also used the 2000 GOP platform as a source, but it mainly used the 2024 platform. Tech is not perfect, but it basically summed up the platform very well.




Here is the GOP platform compared to the DNC platform as well. Both parties have their strengths and weaknesses, but both also have similarities, as both parties support American workers, and infrastructure.

I did later on. If you want, I can create a new thread, but some folks here have a strong distaste for AI, so I do not want to make too many threads related to AI. Also, I had to reset the AI's learning of politics, cos it thinks that 2024 does not exist yet.

Cos it has worked well for other things, such as making devotionals. The tech is still not quite mature yet. It does summarize stuff well, but when having to work with 41 files, it struggles. If I had a more powerful computer, I would get a larger AI model, cos this one is a little under powered. Also, I have to tell you that I am obsessed with science and technology. It is part of my personality. Just a mere two years ago, this tech would have been impossible. Now, I can sit in my living room and run an AI on my computer offline for free. It can even hold basic conversations, though the slowness of my computer makes that not feasible.

A good guy here named @67_Reasons had a question related to what gear he should bring for hunting. As I am not a hunter, I plugged it into the AI, cos hunting is an important job for people to do: First time hunter...

Remember, I am a 24 year old guy that just wants to experiment with technology, and use tech for good. However, I will always put more trust into humans.

There is one man that I trust above everyone else: Jesus.

Agreed. It is not his agenda. Even my machine told me that Project 2025 is unrelated to Donald Trump. That actually surprised me, but it was made by the Heritage Foundation, which did not have any endorsements from Trump.

One problem with this is that the Supreme Court recently ruled that the agencies and bureaucrats implementing these bills are no longer given presumption of good faith when converting the bills into working rules. This means that bills with loose or unclear details would be essentially worthless.

No, it was not. The bill at the time was still undergoing the amendment process so until all the amendments had been voted on, yea or nay, we couldn't know which amendments made it in or not.

Is this a difficult concept? It gets repeated every so often.

The Supreme Court would have to reverse itself, or Congress would have to pass specific legislation. Of course, SCOTUS could always decide to rule that legislation unconstitutional, which would mean the Constitution would have to be amended.

Hopefully, the SCOTUS could reverse itself. Amending the Constitution is nearly impossible, which is a good thing for the most part. It is too late for politics right now, but the SCOTUS has got to be reformed. 12-18 year term limits would be nice, as well as having at least one SCOTUS judge be of an independent 3rd party. Have a good night, brother.
