There is a place called Mt.Soledad that looks over San Diego. On the top of this mountain there is a cross. They are going to take it down. If I knew how to help keep the cross up I would.
And if I find out how to help I will let ya'll know.

I think I have seen the cross you are talking about...thats terrible...I hope they dont take it down...if it is the same cross I saw...it is beautiful. Among that, California is also debating to take the cross symbol off of our California State Seal. I signed a petition against it. . I hope they dont take the Cross off of the Seal. .

This is sad because they want you to swear to the Bible like in taking some kind of public office or even in a courtroom, but it is incorrect to display the 10 commandments.

Your right. I just got an e-mail back from the Mt.Soledad Memorial people and they said it was pretty much inevitable.
Its a shame

They can take away the cross but theres just somethings that they can never take away.

I am in San Diego. I have been following this, it's only a matter of time be for the juggernaut lawyers of the ACLU step in fight the city. What happened in Los Angeles in the past couple of years, LA County taken the cross off the shield of LA County, out of fear of some costly law suit from the ACLU.

A physical cross won't bring people to Jesus. The effects of the cross in the lives of christians they know... that's what'll bring them to Christ. And Jesus in your heart can NOT be torn out.
