You lead two lives:
one of calm and assurance,
the other of pain and depression.
No one knows the real you
because they are only shown one life:
the one that they wish to see.
One faces outward, one faces in,
feeling the inward and living the out.
You know not who you are,
or who you wish to become,
but simply that you are,
and that is enough for now.
I wrote this one a long time ago- probably 4 or 5 years ago. It's just a reflection of the masks we wear, ones that sometimes even hide our identities from ourselves.
