Dooms Day clock moving closer to midnight

The bulletin of Atomic Scientists has been announcing the "dooms day clock" for some time now over most of my life and so it has announced its current estimates. Just thought I would ask if anyone would care to comment?


The clock has moved a little closer to midnight due to fears of nuclear materials, icbms at the ready and nuclear capabilities of Iran and North Korea along with fears of climate change:

Kind of scary, kind of sad.

On one hand, people have been thinking that the world would end in their life times since recorded history.
On the other hand, many of their points are valid.

Now if there wasa great big doomsday clock that NOONE was in contol of that moved from time to time, that would be creepy.

What's more creepy than that is that we haven't resolved our problems on earth and NASA wants to spend Trillions to build a moon base by 2020.
