Has anyone seen this yet? I saw it yesterday, I actually thought it was pretty good. The reviews are hammering it, but it kept me on the edge of my seat and I recognized all the bad guys from the video game as well.

It really gets into the whole DNA mutation thing and even talks about what people were like before the flood in the days of Noah. (Nephillim)

A stark reminder not to mess around with God's creations, that will go unheeded I'm sure.

The movie is freakin awesome. The problem is with reviewers...they review ALL movies the same way...but for the normal movie goer like myself..I don't go to a movie with The Rock in it to see him standing around quoting poetry or a deep, complex web of plot..I go there to see The Rock shooting stuff. I go there for the ACTION. If I wanted something deeper..i'd watch Minority Report..if I want a comedy..I'll see a comedy,etc..

So I'd say Doom FULLY succeeded in doing what it was meant to do...be a GREAT, solid action flick.
