Just got Doom 3 for Xbox. Verrry spooky game. Walk into a well lit room besides the back. Flip on my flashlight and spot a fat zombie chewing on a skinny one. I step back, he hears me, snaps his head up, and so does his meal. They advance and I get attacked in the back by Maggots. If there is one thing you want to use to scare people from wanting to go to hell, get them to play Doom 3.

Played on PC with lights off, and must have jumped outta my chair quite a few times. Very spooky.

the expansion pack is out or out soon... seen a few reviews. Don't think I'll bother somehow. More of the same 'theres some armour in a seemingly innocent place, ill go and grab it and try not to freak out when the monsters attack me from behind'.

I perfer PC over Xbox. My PC is powerful enough to handle all the graphical requirements. Xbox is strong, just not strong enough.

And I perfer Xbox over PC cause I know my XBox can run any XBox game. My PC can't run every PC game.

I don't agree with such games. I believe that they encorage satanism and I'm sure that their programmers made the game this intention.

Doom 3 is not that great of a game, it just has good graphics. It is pretty fun and scary but there are no mechanics but point and shoot. Try HL2 for single player fun and Counter-Strike or Halo 2 for multiplayer.

My nabours son talked lots of this half lives game, I saw it once and it had you killing american solidiers. I thought it was sick.

To be fair those American soldiers were attempting to cover up alien invasions on Earth in case that makes a difference.

Yea they are like American Nazis...if that makes sense. And it doesnt seem that a satanist would make a game like doom 3. Wouldnt they want to make Satan look good?

In all fairness, you're not fighting FOR hell, you're fighting against it. And if Christians want a marketing tool, or a new scare tatic for their religion, Doom 3 would be a nice way to keep kids on the straight and narrow, if not for morals but out of fear of going to that hell.

Well, finally defeated Doom 3. Took a matter of 3 days (not total game time, keep in mind, just how many days I played it). Final boss is alot bigger in this game than in the others.

I have the special edition XBOX version on layaway at wal-mart. MY pc will not run doom 3, and I don't have the money for an upgrade right now. I plan on getting it off layaway on the 21st.

It's a good idea to reserve the SE, yes. Unlike the Halo 2 SE, because once all the first shipped Doom 3 SE's are sold, no more will be made, so it really be a collector's item.

And no, no I shouldn't be playing MGS3. Hush you.
