Doom 3 all of my friends have played it i want to play but i am not sure if i should.What do you guys think.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I think it's all right if you play it Max. In the game your fighting the demons not helping them, there are some pentagrams but what d expect in a game about fighting the armies of Satan. Another thing is that as long as you remember it's just a game you shouldn't have any problems with playing it. If it is the violence you don't like you can turn it off in the opptions menu.

Doom 3 was a let down... very repetitive too... the demons like to "surprise" you by hiding and attacking you from behind. Sure it gives you a fright the first couple of times...

You should. It's a fun game, and i wasn't effected. Except for maybe looking over my shoulder a lot, and jumping at any loud noises.

It's pretty good and entertaining, but not scary as its too repetitve. But there was one incident in a bathroom when I looked in the mirror and saw a zombie lurching behind me...freaky.
The weapons aren't satisfing enough, apart from the good ol' room clearer, the BFG 9000.

I played it and it's scarey it's about Hell taking over your miltary space ship and you have to fight the off and It's hard I Liked just cause of the scare factor of
the con of the game you can't use your gun and flashlight at the same time but it adds to the scareness I'M peersonally going to pick up the collector's edition which includes all of the preveious Doom's
