When in school, one of the professors said something that stuck. He told the class not to try to get an A in his class, but instead to master the subject.
Leonard Ravenhill preached something that is reminiscent. He said we get focused on revival and healing and miracles, but we need Jesus. Just as we can make an A in a class and never have what we really need which is mastery of the subject, we can have "revivals" and "miracles" and still be told,"I never knew you". Remember who we really need is Jesus.
