well then i guess i don't understand. i've always been taught that dogma absolutely could not be wavered from and i accept that but that the others are subject to interpretation for lack of a better term.

the problem i have with this whole thing is in essence if the Church stops these adoptions how is that not a grave sin; keeping children from prospective happy and loving homes, regardless of what sex the parents may be, regardless of the religious affiliation they may be. how is that not morally wrong?

And how is NOT wrong I do not understand your rational here .... Homosexuality has always been a Grave sin in the Church and you think placing a child into the middle of Grave sin to be raised by those engaging in it is not sinful as well??????????? I do not understand that rational .....

well maybe because i personally don't consider homosexuals fire breathing heathens. who is turning this into the morality debate? my point is, homosexuals as well as atheist as well as single parents are just as capable of being loving and nurturing to a child who only wishes someone would love them enough to adopt them. bottom line.

Gee I wonder how many Gay parents are going to open the Bible and teach their Children, Oh by the way kids did you know that what me and my partner are doing is going to condemn me and my partner to hell according to the Bible and God does not approve of what we are doing and that is the right teaching so you should not agree with us and therefore disrespect us because we are horrible sinners that chose to live out our lives in sin ????? i wonder how many of them will do that and properly teach the child the ways of the Lord????

I love the sinner and hate the sin .... that does not mean however I condone it either by placing children to live with them that would then validate that their way of life is just fine and dandy when it comes time to being convenient for us but when it isn't we are going to tell them that they have to change their ways .... that is two faced

And also Michelle made a good point. We are talking about the neglected children in society who need good homes,
(newborns are pretty much gauranteed placement immediately)-- and there is no gaurantee that homosexual parents would prefer adopting them over a newborn. Like Michelle says, she knows two ladies who used artificial insemination as opposed to adoption.

So, to remedy the foster home and orphage situation-- that needs to fall in everyone's lap. I think I read that Dr. Ray has adopted ten kids, all of them the cost was minimal to get them, and he wasn't picky about what kinds of kids he got.

yeppers why look it is and backed up with Scripture and all isn't it ..... I believe it is God's outrage not just mine.... and as long as people like to exhibit that it is just fine and dandy to defy the Vatican and the Pope at their whim and then still say they are in Communion with Rome I will still be here ..... Unfortunately there are some perverts out there who will twist the Word of God and try to make it sound like God approves of their sin. There are actually churches out there devoted to this. Ever heard of the Metropolitan Community Church? It's a denomination that approves of homosexuality and homosexual sin.

Yeah they basically "explain it away" by saying that the Bible is actually referring to homosexual rape, temple prostitutes, molestation, etc. Of course they are dead wrong as our most holy Catholic and apostolic Church has infallibly ruled that it is a sin.
