We kind of do. In a way.

With the ability for many people in developed nations to record in high definition the things that they see we have to wonder why we don’t see miracles happen in real time.

I've "recorded" miracles more than once. So this doesn't actually mean it never happens.

Well I would be very interested to see evidence of a miracle. Can you share the recordings?

I'm sure you would be interested in seeing them. But if you want to see them just to try and "figure them out" I'm not sure what the point of me telling you would be. As I've said here before, there are cons to telling you, such as you not believing them because you will be held accountable for what testimony you get from Believers. I'm actually looking out for you by not telling you. If I tell you about them, and you just hand wave the whole thing and you never become a Christian, you will get a "worse" punishment for knowing something like this. At least that is a possibility to me.

@Larnievc, here is a relevant passage about this to some degree.

Matthew 11:25 At that time Jesus declared, “I thank you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that you have hidden these things from the wise and understanding and revealed them to little children; 26 yes, Father, for such was your gracious will. 27 All things have been handed over to me by my Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and anyone to whom the Son chooses to reveal him. 28 Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”

As a comment, I would like to say, simply, that sometimes when a miracle happens, it doesn't necessarily mean it is "felt" insofar as a "spiritual high" is concerned. One might think this is the case in large part, that there should be some kind of "what it's like" to experience a miracle. But sometimes that is just not the case.

Most folks have had the experience of not being able to get a good night’s rest worrying about something bad that might happen to them (or theirs).

How often have they also been unable to sleep for the anticipation of something wonderful happening?

My guess is that it is less frequent.

This largely depends on if someone is a pessimist or an optimist.

When I've been manic I've had trouble sleeping.... (which is a normal symptom) I'd partly been anticipating wonderful things...

It is interesting that you have experienced so many miracles, Carl. But sometimes other people do not get the miracle they are asking for. There was a member here who was saying he didn't care about being comforted by the Holy Spirit because that didn't help him. Instead, he almost demanded that God do a miracle to heal his wife and that if God didn't heal his wife, then he would think God doesn't do what God said he does, which is doing miracles. Further, I don't want to downplay the idea that Jesus did many miracles, because he did. I know this because I did a study on the word poieō (ποιέω) which means do/make. I simply searched for this Greek word in the book of John, and what I found is that almost every single time it is used as Jesus doing/making something, it is associated with a miracle or sign or wonder. But that does not change the fact that some people, even Christians, can live their whole lives without experiencing a single miracle. What would you say to this person, who just wants his wife healed?

Clearly such a person needs to attend to their own attitudes to God first - yes He does miracles - no we cant demand that He does.

I appreciate the answer to the immediate question I asked you, but I am still wondering what you think of people not getting the miracle they are looking for.

In my experience, some are told by the Holy Spirit that they will be healed in this life, hold onto that truth and see the fruit eventually.

Some have 'the Word' but fall into unbelief - they may or may not see the a healing.

Others have no personal Word but seek earnestly, knocking on the door so to speak. This can evoke God's compassion and He may answer with healing.

My mom had a miraculous healing as a widow on her own at night in the country. Was literally tossed around in the bed while He healed organs that had been misplace in her tummy since she carried me some 28 years earlier. She heard the words - "Well done good and faithful servant..."
She didn't ask for or expect this - sometimes He moves because He wants to...
She had a vibrant ministry and died at 98.

So I don't think you can formulate God's will in this area.

I think each individual case is different.

He knows best - we overrate this life anyway - the best is to come and He knows what He is doing (and His ways are past finding out...)

Whelp, looks like the same response as every other theist, then. Schrodinger’s evidence.

More or less, that is basically it, yes. The question to ask is if it would actually convince you of anything or not. If it would not, then there is no point in my sharing it. If it could potentially convince you, then I can tell you about it in a PM if you like.

Testimony is not good evidence of miracles. I’d be interested in the medical records, though.

That’s a great excuse for clever people not being presented with evidence. It implies that one needs to be an intellectual child to see evidence of miracles.

Are you sure that is what you want to claim? I would never make that claim of a theist.

Why do you think Jesus told Nicodemus that he had to be "born again"? Because it's not about "evidence" that convinces someone to be a Christian, but the Holy Spirit.

If you read it - I included a link to the medical records which I photographed and posted.
