  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

i need to take a break. first off i'm going to lunch. second off it's me versus 20 :cool:. i need to take time and think how USEFUL internet debate is :) Also, i need time to read God's Word to refresh me and give me wisdom.

it has been a pleasure talking to all of you and i'm sure i'll continue in the future. taking a break now. I apologize if i have not shown the love of Christ to all of you. That is my #1 goal (i know people will say it's not loving to be against gay marriage and call homosexuality a sin but it is like someone posted that i am trying to help people despite themselves).

if i fail it's because i am not smart enough. Not because Jesus isn't the Truth the Life and the Way. He is.
