  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

U.S. Mint to Add Presidents to Dollar Coins

You know, they think adding president faces to the coins will help but I don't know. I personally just love any of the dollar coins, I just don't get any except when I get stamps from the Post Office machine it gives dollar coins in change instead of bills.

I think they ought to just keep putting women faces on them. Clara Barton, Annie Oakley, Florence Nightingale, Harriet Tubman, Laura Ingalls Wilder, Harriet Beecher Stowe, and then there are all the first ladies. Lots of these ladies are sorta lost in history, be a neat platform to bring them into a new light---:sigh:instead we get Harding & Nixon & Andrew Johnson:doh:

If they really want to get these coins into service they'll quit printing the paper.

We have dollar coins and they're a nuisance. I already have enough loose change in my purse.

Well then save it, give it, or spend it! Drop it into the collection plate at church, store it up in a jar and cash it in (they've got those nifty machines at nearly every grocery store & bank that ya drop your change in for cash).

I want more dollar coins...
