I prefer "non-shedding"! If I ever get another dog it will probably be a Silky Terrier. BTW some short-haired dogs [such as dalmations] shed like you would not believe!

I prefer short hair. I like the idea of less grooming time. But as far as shedding....my boxers get hair all over the place. I mean everywhere.

I have a four year old Boston Terrier, named Jake. He does shed, but not too bad, depending on the time of year. My cat sheds really bad. And I probably shed more than they do. So I guess I can't complain!!

cool cool - except i dont really like cats, whenever i go near them they hiss so yeah...dont like them dogs are nicer and more reliable lol

My husband always felt that way about cats too. He never knew a nice one. I told him that he will find out that not all cats are bad. So when I adopted my two kitties when we got our house, he saw that cats can be cool and lovey. So now he likes cats. He was quite amazed!

cool lol i guess - I have a few friends and even my cousins have cats , but my cousins cats dont really count because they hide all the time no matter who comes to the house and even sometimes from my cousins

I like short hair, we raise Border Collies and we have 2 smooth coats and one med coats. Labs shed something horrible. Actually Golden Retrievers shed less and it is easier to clean up.

We have a black lab mix. Oh all the hair. When I clean the house 99% of what I clean up is dog hair. Our other puppy is a Cocker and he sheds very little. Jones (agy) our maltese passed away in april, but he didn't shed at all. We miss him sooooo much.

We went to the dog show this weekend, and we will be getting a Great Dane as our next dog. It won't be for years though, as I have told my husband time and time again, my angel puppy will never die. She knows I love her too much
