Doesn't anyone need a keyboardist?

Not like I've tried here before, but I mean in general WHAT HAPPEND TO KEYBOARDISTS!? Have people already forgotten the great Hammond B3. I hope not...

Keyboards are a nessessity to any artistic or good music. In my favorite band, Queen, Freddie had the most amazing ways to come up with great piano pieces for his music. Look at bands like Skillet that use not only keyboards, but synths.

In my own band, we have an arrangement of synths and keyboards for an awesome sound.

Yeah Freddie was incredible. Check out YES and Rick Wakeman. I meant....alot of modern groups don't have keyboardists.

hehe, I play piano/keyboard too... generally, pianos and keyboards aren't needed when your "band" *ahem* plays *ahem* "music" *ahem* that consists mainly of noise.

Man! Someone actualy voted that keyboardists suck. What a world, what a world, what a world....

My favorite bands are usually hybrid. Like a Rock, Classical, Jazz, and a little Country.

keyboards SUCK!!!!?!>?!?!??!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! that is so NOT true. ive enjoyed the keyboard all my life and its stiill something amazing i can play. but if i had a choice, id always be piano/keyboard!

Keyboards make music so much more interesting. It really makes people listen deeper.
