Tell me, how does voting make those Trump people nonexistent, and if voting doesn't make Trump's base nonexistent, what's the next step?

Even so, ones were able to hate and call for the crucifixion of Jesus > they were mother and fathers, accepted citizens of Israel, who became able to do that. So, though ones might speak for themselves about what they can or can not do > they might not realize what they are capable of.

I would likely take that same position on general principle. It creates a dichotomy. Is abandoning Trump an admission that everything that has gone on over the last two years has been right?

I see this entire thing as a grotesque abuse of authority on the part ohof the government and I might be tempted as a protest against that abuse to support Trump.

It's been a long time in the making and it's mostly due to international trade deals the way I see it. It would be dishonest to believe that things like NAFTA did not have their detractors on both sides of a border. Same thing with other trade relationships. These things build up over time to a boiling point. What happens? Donald Trump is elected President of the United States.

As long as the voter base believes that these deals with foreign countries are lob sided towards other countries. A fact that Trump could actually take money from any foreigner while at the same time taking an adversarial approach to trade with them and get the bigger end of the stick too. Short of actually shooting someone in Times Square, Mueller's conclusions can do more to re-elect him rather than vote him out of office.

This too can become a nothing burger.

Things like that happen every day. Someone commits a crime and during their arrest the police abuse the suspect. Crowds of people protest the police and demand that the suspect be released.
What's the difference?

I often wonder if this is some sort of game Trump supporters pose or if they actually are unaware of all the things for which Trump, associates and family are being investigated.

Why has Stormy Daniels not been arrested for extortion? Trump is being investigated for paying hush money, which isn't a crime, but the recipient of the hush money, who has committed a federal crime, walks.

This whole thing is laughable.

"Taking money" is only an example of all the other wider array of accusations.

Trump could almost shoot somebody in broad daylight in Times Square and people would still vote for him because they see that person laying dead in a puddle of blood as someone like Hitler.

I understand....in fact, we’ve seen it before.

Long after Nixon was indeed found to be a “crook”, long after he resigned in shame over his crimes, something like 20% of Americans still supported him...

I don’t know if they were just blindly loyal, or if they disbelieved the charges of which he was guilty, or if they just weren’t ‘well’....but I can see a similar kernel of hard-core Trump followers continuing to support him, regardless of how many crimes can be proven against him...

It’s sad....it’s bigly sad.
