CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

He has a shot at the Republican nomination, actually a pretty good one, IF Trump is taken off the board,
then I imagine he would capture virtually all the MAGA vote as 2nd choice. I suspect he's hedge betting on that.
It's not a bad play for the nomination and likely enough to win it in that case based on Trump's numbers.

I think you'll see either Trump or Vivek take the nomination. He's basically the MAGA booby prize if they don't get their first choice and he knows it.

I thought "God is real" was a strange slogan when I first heard this, but then I remembered some of my reading of the Vedas, and I realize it might be a kind of clever "dog-whistle", since it might appear to affirm Abrahamic beliefs on first glance, but the notion of God as "the Real" is even more present in Hinduism.
