Hmm just wondering the name of one of my main chars is faith. She is a sad and depressed girl who does not want to be there helping the other mains on there quest. however she has to because she can't get back to our world if she doesn't. She also has to follow along so that she does not die there. However doing the quest she starts to care and finds peace within her own soul.
So I was just wondering if that is to lame .

"Too lame"?

Why would it be lame? It's the character you decided on. I'd say that if you fully develop her (ie, why is she the only one who doesn't want to help? What does she want to go back to? What makes her start to care? What does she need to find peace from?), it'd actually be rather interesting. It sounds like you have a good opportunity to create a deep character.

Remember, almost nothing (I said 'almost' - who could forget the Anti-Guide?) is 'lame' if you write it well and use your imagination.

ha great idea seeing as iv been writing something of the same sorts for 3 months and am 100 pages in to it now stumped....

Hey I kind of think that is how it goes with heroes sometimes. They don't want to do something but because of no choice or circumstance have to go ahead and face what they don't want to do. It makes them stronger as they go along and soon they are what they never expected to be. Hang in there. Good going Lady Marion
